I cannot say enough good things about Nicole and her team! She was the only vendor we met with that was completely transparent with her pricing, and for my first zoom call with her she put together a slide deck with some sample flower arrangements based on a conversation we had over the phone. I was absolutely blown away by the service ad execution and really can't recommend her enough!

Shannon and Three Roots were amazing to work with! You can see from the photos (By Jessie Barentsen) below how absolutely stunning our florals were on our day. Throughout the whole planning process Shannon was so easy to communicate with and always had very prompt, timely responses. She was able to take my thoughts and visions bring them together and to life. She was very detail oriented down to having me select ribbons and vessels for our bouquets and florals. She sourced the most beautiful candles and bud vases for us as well. We had some last minute cancellations and cut down 2 tables and she worked with us to reallocate what we had paid for those tables to florals elsewhere in the space to not lose out. On our day there was so much love and hugging the groomsmen boutonnieres were falling off before the ceremony and she made new ones for all of them and placed them on. I cannot recommend Shannon enough!

Sage & Sonder Events and Design
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Norwalk, CT

I've always been the creative, organized type—planning corporate events, alumni reunions, or special gatherings for loved ones. Years ago, I planned my own backyard wedding in under three months. The day before, disaster struck—a storm took down my tents, my fiancé broke his foot, and my dad had a concussion. After a long day in the ER, I was back arranging flowers and setting up decor. Despite the chaos, the wedding was beautiful. That day taught me this: every couple deserves to enjoy their moment without stress. That’s why I’m here—to bring your vision to life, beautifully and effortlessly.

Sage & Sonder is one of the best in the business! The owner is very caring and very thorough with her work. She makes sure you get what you want and is done to it's best potential. If you have any events, whether its birthday parties, weddings, seminars, ANYTHING that could require a decorated scene, Sage & Sonder is the business to call! They made the most beautiful center pieces, balloon arches/gardens, you could ever ask for! :D

    Floral Designs by Melissa LLC
    Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
    • Starts at $6,000
    • Serves Norwalk, CT

At the age of 15 I began taking horticulture & floral design classes & fell in love with all aspects of floral design from that moment on. I feel that I am truly lucky to be one of the few people out there who found my true passion in life so early. Nearly 20 years later I still feel the same excitement & love I always have for being a floral designer. My love for what I do is how I am able to meet my goal of exceeding the expectations of each & every individual that I work with. There is not one style or budget that each person should have to conform to for their floral needs & desires to be beautiful.

I wish to give the highest praise to Melissa for creating the floral design of my daughter’s dreams! The gorgeous bouquets, table centerpieces and bud vase arrangements were outstanding. We were so pleased with the quality of the flowers along with her amazing ability to bring the complete vision to life!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Kate brought my idea of a spring garden wedding to life. She over exceeded my expectations for all the bouquets and the bud vases throughout the room. She was very easy to talk through it all and really helped with showing a personalized portfolio to really showcase what to expect on our wedding day. It was so special to me and my mother-in-law to incorporate her wedding dress sleeve as the wrap for my bouquet.

    The Faux Bouquets
    Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
    • Starts at $175
    • Serves Norwalk, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I was so impressed with The Faux Bouquets for our wedding! Brittany, the owner, was incredibly quick to respond, thorough in her communication, and had such a friendly and fun personality. She really went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect faux floral arrangements for our big day. The quality of their work is truly unique and you can tell they are so passionate about what they do. We were able to take advantage of a special deal on the flowers I wanted, and they even upgraded some of the pieces for free! Compared to other faux floral companies in the area, we were able to get much more for our money. I'm so glad I took the time for the 15 minute consultation with Brittany - it was so helpful to see the items at scale and she customized our order perfectly. Our wedding is not until 2027 but we got them early and I LOVE them. I also like that the suites aren’t cookie cutter so each of my bridesmaids have their own style.

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for Beth at Hudson Valley Flowers. I approached my wedding floral plan almost nothing about flowers and with just a vague vision—lots of whites and blues, a mix of wildflowers and garden-style blooms—and she brought it to life beyond anything I could have imagined. One of my favorite memories of the whole day was when she arrived with the bouquets—mine and my bridesmaids’—and they literally took my breath away. Hello! My name is Albelisa and I am the Owner and Creative Director at Maple Field Floral! This is a business I officially launched in 2017 and it has been an absolute joy to work with flowers in celebrating so many happy occasions! After being hired to make bouquets and centerpieces for a friend's wedding in 2016, floral arranging became a passion for me! I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Floral Design program at the New York Botanical Garden. I LOVE exploring the Hudson Valley, spending time with my family, playing sports and staying active, reading, board games, DIY crafts, sketching, old buildings and mojitos!

    Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Albelisa, the owner and creative director of Maple Field Floral, was an absolute dream. Going into the planning process, we had a vague vision of what we wanted, but it wasn't fully clear. Albelisa took our scattered ideas and managed to bring them all together flawlessly, creating a beautiful, romantic, and incredibly cheerful atmosphere that blew us away. What truly sets her apart, though, is her unparalleled flexibility and calm under pressure. When the forecast changed and we had to move our outdoor wedding indoors, Albelisa pivoted seamlessly with only a single day's notice. She adjusted our arrangements and found a way to completely recreate the natural beauty of an outdoor setting right inside our venue. The flowers themselves were absolutely breathtaking. So many of our guests complimented them and joked that they wished they could make them last forever. To top it all off, Albelisa even recommended another artistically talented vendor so we can preserve and beautifully display our bouquet for years to come. She is a true artist and a wonderful professional. Hire Maple Field Floral immediately!

    Willow & Grey

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

We hired Willow & Grey for our wedding florals, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Renee was an absolute dream to work with—thoughtful, creative, and incredibly talented. One of the things that initially stood out to me was that Renee had already been to our venue before, so she had a great eye for how to enhance the space and transform it into something truly special. Even with minimal inspiration from us, she completely understood our vision and brought it to life in such a beautiful way. We wanted our florals to complement the overall vibe of our day while still feeling unique and personal—and Renee absolutely delivered. Every arrangement felt intentional and artful, with those little unexpected touches that made everything feel extra special. If you're getting married in Connecticut and want florals that feel both elegant and personal, we’d 100% recommend Willow & Grey. Renee is amazing! – The Ryans

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Lindsay is a magician! She delivered the most stunning, colorful, vibrant bouquets and boutonnières to our venue the morning of our wedding. She did such a fantastic job nailing our exact vision! We did all our decor florals and Linsday was so helpful in collaborating with us to make sure everything matched beautifully! The stunning colors really made our special day pop. I can’t recommend Wild Grown enough thank you Lindsay!
