“The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow was a perfect venue for us! We knew we wanted something a little bit unique as a venue, and this was it! We were able to have our ceremony on the boardwalk and then guests were able to move around on the boardwalk and the beach throughout the night. We also loved that we were able to have our band and dancing in one room with dinner in the other. There is a lot of space to utilize however you want, so we used the outside areas for our guestbook signing, a photobooth, and a glassware engraver. We also got super lucky with a sunset too! They were very accommodating with any requests that we had prior to the day, and made sure that we were taken care of throughout our day. Everytime myself or my husband turned around someone from the Pavilion was making sure we were fed, had a drink or needed anything! Tarek, Henry and Anthony were extremely attentive throughout the night. Our guests were raving about the cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and midnight snacks. We also added the hotdog cart for an exit station and ended up adding passed desserts which we loved! Just a note that this venue is being taken over by a new company so I’m not sure what changes are being made!”

“If I could give Essex Club 100 stars, I would. The staff is top notch and will go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Jessica is the best person to be handling your wedding during the planning stage, she makes everything feel simple and stress-free. Rob, the maître d’, will keep everything moving seamlessly on the big day and Julissa, my bridal attendant, was always there when I needed her for anything, no matter how big or small. The food is amazing (shout out to the Asiago rice balls!!!), the grounds are beautiful, and the ballroom and cocktail hour space have a romantic and intimate feel. The price is incredibly reasonable if you do their complete wedding package. We chose to upgrade certain parts of the package but that’s totally up to each individual couple. I still feel like we got the best deal for our money. We got married on Saturday, April 18th. It was the most perfect day I could have asked for!! I feel like Essex Club is a hidden gem and I want to take out an ad in the paper for them because people have no idea what they are missing by not booking with them.”

“I can not say enough good things about this amazing venue! From our first chat in 2024 through our wedding day in 2026 they exceeded all our expectations. Rob answered my message right away, I had 3 amazing walk throughs with both him and TK prior to booking because I needed to weigh every possible option, and every other team member we met along the way felt like they were just as excited for our wedding day as we were. I can not even remember how many times I called to ask little questions like what time dinner would be served and every person that answered was either able to immediately give me an answer or would get someone who could. On our wedding day every staff member were the most caring and supportive people we could have ever asked for. Nick was our captain and made sure every moment of the day followed my vision. Morgan and Paige were our bridal attendants and over a month later my husband and I still talk about how much we loved them. They both anticipated anything we could possibly need before we needed it and checked on us all night long. My husband asked if anyone had matches and they magically appeared. I mentioned that my dress strap was cutting into me and a few moments later I was offered 3 possible solutions (which worked for the entire night). Every guest can not stop raving about the food and how beautiful the entire party was. They made sure everything we wanted happened and made sure to pull us aside to take a moment to breathe. We can not wait to attend an event as a guest!”
