They took amazing care of us and all our guests, from the 3-month-old babies to my 91-year-old Grandpa, ensuring our wedding day was truly incredible and a family affair. “We are so glad we chose Lake Morey resort for our wedding venue. Our top priority for our venue was to find a place where our friends and family would be able to share quality time together, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Lake Morey nailed it with their social environment, gorgeous grounds, and amazing live music. We had our ceremony in the Hemlock Gardens, with cocktail hour in Mapleview Gardens & tented reception on the lawn — all the venues dressed up beautifully for the big day. While food wasn’t a huge priority for us when selecting the venue, Lake Morey greatly exceeded our expectations. The reception food and hors d’oeuvres were delicious and garnered a ton of compliments. And no review of Lake Morey would be complete without a shout-out to Bonnie, the in-house wedding coordinator, who is exceptional. She was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we had a scare about getting rained out, she proactively made sure to book the nicest spaces for backup venues at no upcharge for us (fortunately, the skies did clear up for the big day, but she saved our welcome party from disaster). It was so clear to us that Bonnie really cares about the couples she works with — it’s more than just a job for her. Thank you once again Bonnie and all the amazing staff at Lake Morey!”

“Absolutely — here’s a polished version that still feels personal and heartfelt: We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Loon Mountain and the incredible team who made our wedding day absolutely magical! From management to the entire staff, everyone was fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were kind, accommodating, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we had hoped for. With rain on the radar, the team worked with us and moved things around to make sure we were still able to have our ceremony at the summit — something that meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for the effort they put into making it happen. And in the end, the overcast weather made the mountain even more beautiful. The views were breathtaking, and our photos came out looking absolutely majestic against the mountains and clouds. It honestly felt like something out of a dream. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and made for such a unique and unforgettable wedding experience. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Loon was and how special it was to take the gondola up the mountain for our ceremony. The food was also fantastic! A huge kudos to the chef and culinary team — everything was delicious and beautifully done. Our wedding day was truly the most magical day, and Loon Mountain was such a huge part of making it that way. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married or a better team to have behind us. We will forever be grateful to everyone at Loon for giving us a day we will never forget. “My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!”

“July-2024 we hosted our daughter’s wedding at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in the White Mountains of NH. We were fortunate to have perfect weather the entire weekend. But the hospitality, service, food, location & splendor of a well kept historic grand dame hotel made our entire experience a spectacular, elegant and enjoyable weekend for everyone! Guests enjoyed golfing, hiking, relaxing by the pool or the veranda surrounded by gorgeous views all weekend. Friday evening we entertained our guest with a private welcome party on the South Veranda. We were able to customize a menu with the chef- treating everyone with a taste of South Indian dishes honoring the region of India our son-in-law & family are from. The ceremony & reception were held at the Rosewood Lodge at the top of Brettonwoods Ski Area. A gondola ride to the top provided a fun experience, helping to build the excitement for the main event. Having the entire lodge, patio top of mountain to ourselves made it feel exclusive and very special. Accommodations- the MW is a magnificent grand historic hotel beautifully decorated with beautiful grounds. It is clean & well maintained for being 125 year old large busy hotel. The bride & groom had their 1st look at the main hotel- providing a beautiful setting & capturing the grandeur of the hotel. Service & Hospitality- in a word it was-Outstanding! The wedding consultant(Katarina Doucette- Senior Catering Sales Manager) was so helpful, accommodating & responsive throughout the entire process. Every staff member from the banquet coordinators, chef, servers, hotel cleaning staff & front desk took such special care of us - despite being a busy summer weekend we felt we were exclusive guests of the hotel. A special shout out to the gondola operators- they were so helpful getting our wedding decorations loaded & up/down the mountain. They even enthusiastically decorated the bride & grooms gondola with lighting for a crazy/fun send off at the end of the night! To end the weekend - we had a delicious Sunday brunch buffet for our guests in the beautiful main dining room. We utilized nearly every area & aspect of the Mount Washington Resort and had great experiences the entire weekend! Weddings are expensive but we felt every penny we spent was well worth it and appreciated at The Omni Mount Washington Resort. The pictures from the photographer - Lena Marisola - really say it all!”

“Getting to have our wedding at Burke Mountain was so special! We could not have asked for a better weekend or wedding day. Alicia and her team are amazing and truly helped us bring our dream wedding to life. From the start, Alicia helped answer all of our questions (and we had many!) and helped us create the perfect day while always keeping our budget in mind. She provided detailed timelines and deadlines and helped us stay on track throughout the planning process. She was on top of all the details, both big and small, and even helped coordinate with each of our vendors. She was so great to work with! I'd also be remiss not to give Lou a shout-out! He worked so hard all weekend to make sure everything was set up for us, from the chairs and tables in the reception space to bringing the mums we had for the ceremony up to the site for us. Not only are Alicia, Lou, and the rest of their team incredibly organized, but they are all so kind! All weekend, we had staff offering to help, asking what we needed, and doing the same for our guests. While our entire wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, it was truly the people who helped make our wedding weekend so special, and that includes the team at Burke Mountain. In addition to the incredible team, the venue itself was stunning. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny fall day, and our guests were in awe of the views from both the mountain/pavilion site and the hotel. The space was comfortable, the food was delicious, and we loved that our guests could stay at the hotel if they chose to. We would absolutely recommend Burke Mountain to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We are so grateful we got to celebrate our wedding there!”

We live and Denver but wanted to have our wedding in New York since that is our home state. We were super nervous about planning a wedding from across the country but Turning Stone blew us away! There were so many package options and we found one that was perfect for us for a pretty affordable wedding price. Additionally, it came with a wedding planner and we hit the jackpot with Quiana Morgan. She was incredible and my husband and I refer to her as THE GOAT! She was detailed, attentive, and made everything about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured and did anything she could to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had a very non traditional wedding, so we asked for some out of the box accommodations and we never heard the work no from her. On top of that, she’s just a great person with a great personality and made the whole experience so fun for us. Come day of the wedding, she had everything planned out, did all the decorating and made me vision come to life, it was absolutely gorgeous. She kept the show running and everything on time and was there to support us through the whole day. She holds a special place in our hearts and I would do any event with her 1000 times over. The venue was beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing, and all of the staff working our wedding was so sweet and just showered us in compliments and amazing vibes. The casino itself was also amazing and there was so much to do. We partied all night and made the best memories. I also got my makeup done at the spa and I looked flawless, it was amazing. Would recommend turning stone weddings for anyone looking for an amazing venue!”

“Thomas & Bridget – and the whole Farmhouse Flowers team – were a huge part of making our August wedding the best day ever . We could not have done it without them! From our first tour of the venue, it was clear how much care they put into their business and into supporting couples who are lucky enough to work with them. The venue, flowers, bar, and day-of coordination were exceptional and beautiful, down to the smallest perfect details – we would highly recommend you book them asap.”

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

Why you'll love this venue

“We got married at Stickney Farms last weekend, and we really can't explain how wonderful it was. We had all our friends and family stay on the property with us, we used the field for giant games of kickball, volleyball, badminton, and capture the flag. We swam in the waterfalls on the property, walked the trails, and took in the beautiful valley views all day every day. The dancehall was everything you could hope for as a dinner venue - historic, elegant, and magical. The owners are incredibly kind, responsive, and wonderful people. Being able to use the property and do our own food and flowers and everything else let us have exactly the wedding we hoped to have. Every single one of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I feel like I'm giving away a hidden gem, but we already got married there so now it's ok if this place is booked every weekend!!!!”

They helped with some custom elements of our wedding like a private rehearsal dinner, entering the ceremony on a bike, and supporting guests with allergies in the menu/dinner service. The landscaping was well cared for which helped make for the perfect backdrop to our entire event, including a wonderful outdoor cocktail hour. “The Inn at the Round Barn Farm is one of the most magical places on the planet. We had our September 2026 wedding at the Round Barn and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The location, the beauty, the comfort, the service... all immaculate. We knew this is the venue we wanted from the minute we stepped foot on our tour in 2024. Fortunately, it lived up to all our expectations. The inn itself is clean and inviting. There's a variety of room styles - we had our immediate family stay here during wedding weekend and they all loved it. The unique decor makes for fun spots to do wedding photos too! Ashley, the innkeeper, just instantly becomes part of your family. She is kind and thoughtful and makes sure you have everything you need. For example, she made sure she had iced coffee for my fiancé and I before we arrived because she remembered from our tasting weekend we didn't do hot coffee. Also the breakfast and treats she makes is UNREAL - so yummy. I keep thinking about the maple yogurt bowls... Renee, the wedding coordinator is a force; she is exactly who you want running your big day. She is calm and easy to work with, while also running a tight ship and making sure you get everything you want. A few months out from our wedding, when we met and started working with Renee, so many of our lingering concerns just dissolved. She is ON IT. We really wanted a private breakfast the morning of our wedding to do private vows. We would've been fine with just a table... Renee went above and beyond to create a beautiful, romantic, private breakfast for us. This was one of the highlights of our entire wedding weekend. Ari, food and beverage manager, just simply makes your dreams come true without you having to do much. We gave her notes from our food tasting and general "vibes" for our signature cocktails and she just nailed it. She also does so much more for you than 'just' the food and drink. Her and Renee are a dynamic duo for all the things you need. I also just appreciated her ability to be fun and thoughtful during a weekend that had a lot of pressure on us. Food was really, really important to us. We wanted really extraordinary dinners for our guests. RBF nailed it. Guests were talking about the food all day and night. My friends are STILL talking about the caviar potatoes in my group chat. Every single bite I took was 5 stars. We can't wait to return here for our anniversary every year. 3”

“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. This place, and the people who make it what it is, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”

“Our wedding at Sugarbush was perfect. We worked with Carolann who was extremely easy to work with, professional, and made the day of feel completely seamless. We got married in the Claybrook courtyard, held cocktail hour outside Gatehouse, reception inside Gatehouse, and had an after party in the pub. Every detail was excellent - bar service, food, and the team's ability to bring my half baked vision to life. They handled all my questions, last minute requests, and day of coordination. We stayed on-site and our guests loved the hotel. The large suites were great for getting ready and hanging out post events.
