“I first met Alicia (briefly) at a styled photo shoot. Alicia did not do my makeup during this styled shoot, but she was one of the contributing make up artists and she did an amazing job completing her assigned model’s make up within the allotted time frame. When it came time for me to select a make-up artist, I had a VERY short short-list of artists. Alicia was one of two that I contacted based on my experience with other professionals. I was highly impressed by the quick response (mere hours compared to days with no response from another). In terms of pricing, Alicia’s work was very affordable and lower than the average per person cost based on my own industry experience. I already knew I liked Alicia’s work from the styled shoot and her Instagram photo portfolio, but I was still nervous that I would lose the look of my face (aka my freckles) as I have many times before in styled shoots so I opted to add in the bridal trial. Alicia was very professional in scheduling the trial and helped me interpret my very indecisive style. I knew I wanted neutral makeup to bring out my eyes and she recommended colors and told me exactly what she was doing at each step. As I drove from my makeup trial to my hair trial, I could not keep my eyes out of the rear view looking at myself (thank god for red lights to sit at and admire myself!). On my wedding day, Alicia treated each of my bridesmaids with the same care and respect that she afforded to me during my trial. Everyone was so impressed with their makeup and I absolutely loved how I looked. I saw myself (freckles, yay!) and I felt truly stunning. She even gave me a little “touch up” kit for the rest of the day in case of oily skin and smudges which I thought was the kindest and most thoughtful way to set herself apart from the crowd of makeup artists to choose from. I highly recommend Alicia for her talent, professionalism, and value.”
