“We had an incredible experience working with Chris for both our engagement session and our wedding day. From start to finish, he exceeded every expectation we had. For our engagement photos, he made the entire shoot so fun, especially because we were able to include our pets. They turned out beautiful. It was the perfect start to our wedding journey. On our wedding day, he was just as impressive. Not only was he punctual and professional, but he also took the time to review our shot list and make sure we stayed on schedule. We took photos before the ceremony and family photos afterward, and he worked so efficiently that we actually ended up early to our reception. Makayla captured both our wedding and our engagement photos. She was professional, quick to respond and willing to try different types of styles in our engagement photos so we could choose a style we wanted for our wedding. I would and have recommended Makayla to friends and family. Wedding planning can be expensive but I think Makayla is worth every penny especially if you are doing a destination wedding. Overall I think what sets Makayla apart from other photographers was her complete respect for what we wanted as a couple, both for privacy in what we wanted featured on her accounts, and also how we wanted photography to be incorporated into our wedding day (giving us the space during vows and not always feeling like it was a photo shoot). She was also honest throughout the process in what she could and couldn't do regarding lighting and weather and was one of the few photographers that we talked to that had clear price points on her website that you can find without asking!
