I'm a fun, outgoing, friendly photographer and lover of all things pretty. Elegant and classy weddings are my vibe. With a documentary style approach and a mix of film you'll receive an unforgettable experience with me! I'm based in Grand Forks, ND but I travel! I'm from Detroit Lakes, MN and lived in Brainerd, MN for a good chunk of my life.

I can make friends with just about anybody. I will be your biggest fan, hype girl, (basically besties already!! I love to travel and explore new cultures. The prettiest country I've been to is Slovenia! I'm here to capture the beauty and raw moments of monumental moments.

    The best photographer ever!!!

    Where do I even start? Kayla has been so accommodating and kind since we met her last year. She shot two sessions of engagement photos for us, and our Wedding day this past Saturday. We absolutely loved working with her, and she always understood and executed our vision beautifully! I am so grateful for the beautiful photos of our special day, as well as her help in coordinating, and the lively energy she brought. We highly recommend for any event that you want to remember forever!

    If I could give more than five stars, I would! Choosing a photographer for your biggest life moments is always a bit nerve-wracking, but Kayla felt like a friend from the very first meeting. ​For our family session, they were absolute magic. They didn't just point a camera at us; they leaned into the beautiful chaos of our family and made us feel so comfortable. Instead of stiff, forced smiles, they captured the real "us"—the laughter, the little glances, and all the tiny details that make our family special. ​Then came the wedding, and I honestly don't know how they did it. They were such a calming presence throughout the day, catching every single "blink-and-you’ll-miss-it" moment without us even realizing they were there. When we got our gallery back, we were in tears. Every photo feels like a piece of art that tells our story perfectly. ​It is so rare to find someone who is not only incredibly talented but also such a joy to be around. Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
You'll get sneak peaks 24 hours after wedding day! My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
