Finding the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner felt like searching for a hidden gem. We needed a venue that could comfortably hold 150 guests, offered a delicious menu, and had a charming atmosphere. Thankfully, our hunt led us to Portsmouth Gas Light's 3rd floor! From the moment we stepped into this beautiful downtown building (conveniently close to a parking garage!), we knew it was special. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Michelle, the Function Manager. Michelle was an absolute rockstar! She helped us navigate everything with ease, from handling dietary restrictions to selecting the perfect menu options and ensuring all our needs were met. The entire function team was professional and attentive, making the whole evening flow seamlessly. And let's not forget the food! It was incredible. Our guests raved about everything they tried. We highly recommend Portsmouth Gas Light for any event. If you're looking for a place with charm, delicious food, and amazing staff, look no further! They truly helped us create an unforgettable rehearsal dinner.

Glen Magna was truly absolute perfection. We had our wedding in early August, and the flowers were magnificent! The grounds, the house, the tent, it was all just incredibly beautiful. The staff at Glen Magna were also incredible from everything leading up to the wedding to the wedding day. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything in my vision come true. The catering was also exceptional. People are still bringing up the food at our wedding. And, working with the caterers was an exceptional experience, too. The variety of options was amazing, and the food was actually delicious. Everyone thought so! If I could change anything about Glen Magna, it would be to do it all over again! I cannot say enough about the staff, the building, the grounds, the ambiance, the food, etc., etc., etc. Thank you, Glen Magna, for allowing me to have a wedding that exceeded my dreams!

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Wentworth by the Sea and could not recommend this venue to other couples enough. Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations. The biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit, and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom. We also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. From flowers to rentals and a band that kept everyone on their feet, we felt that we had the best team to support us and make our day look and feel exactly how we imagined. We could not have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our love, and the staff at Wentworth by the Sea made us feel like one-in-a-million!

He summered here with his first wife, Mabel Cabot Sedgwick, an accomplished horticulturist, gardener, and author of The Garden Month by Month, and his second wife, Marjorie Russell Sedgwick, a rare plants specialist—both of whom created a delightful, enchanting landscape, surrounded by more than 100 acres of woodland. Long Hill was a dream, it felt like a private fairy garden. Gorgeous location and the perfect size for us to take photos privately and guests to explore but not feel too far away (for wrangling from cocktail hour to dinner for example). The Long Hill staff were super communicative and responsive, sometimes a little stressful to work with as it felt like there were a number of restrictions but this really translated to a very stream-lined and well-organized wedding day as they brought up any potential issues early and then on the actual day they were super, super supportive and great to work with. They do have a list of 5 set caterers you need to work with, we were given an exception because of a dietary restriction my in-laws have (need to pay a 1000 fee), but this was tricky as Long Hill expects caterers to take on much more than just food. You'll also want to rent a dance floor (700 in the area) as the under tent area is brick. We had 115 of us total with buffet & dance floor, it was cozy & lovely but any more than 120 would feel tight to me. We were able to have a ceremony for an extra 1000 and then the reception was 5,200 for 5-10 on a Friday. In addition to the gorgeous gardens and beautiful cocktail area off the porch, we could take photos inside which was really lovely and a great break from the heat (our wedding day was 85 and VERY humid). Felt very professionally run and they worked well with my dear friend who was our day-of-coordinator and we just feel extremely grateful to have such a gorgeous location!

There is truly no where like Danversport! We got married there in Sept 2023 and our expectations were blown away. The entire day ran SO smoothly. You really do not need a wedding planner at Danversport because they manage EVERYTHING!! The food was fantastic, the space was stunning and they kept the day on track! Would 10/10 recommend!!!

Immediately following our tour, my partner and I cancelled all tours/meetings with other venues - we knew that if we were going to have a wedding, it had to be at Olio. Sarah and the Olio team ALWAYS met us with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. All communications with Olio were authentic, seamless, and enjoyable. Since our family lives all over the country, Sarah and the team went out of their way to accommodate and ensure each of our family members could tour Olio when they were in town. Our wedding exceeded any and all expectations. It is impossible to articulate the beauty of this venue. All of our friends and family continue to rave about the space, story behind Olio, and the wonderful venue team. Olio is incredible without any decorations, but can be a blank canvas for people with big ideas. There is East End Peabody Veterans Memorial Park down the road that is perfect for photos, and a Granite Coast Brewing Company a few doors down for an afterparty. At the rehearsal dinner, we had the Chicken Milanese entrée, which was a huge hit with our guests. So many people mentioned how much they loved it, and the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The service throughout all of our events was impeccable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. One of the things we loved most about the Hawthorne Hotel was how perfectly it fit our aesthetic for the wedding weekend. The vintage character of the hotel gave everything a timeless, elegant feel, and it was the ideal backdrop for our celebrations, even though our wedding and reception were off-site. We absolutely adored the hotel’s library space, which hosted our farewell brunch. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and meaningful gathering with our closest family and friends. One great example of her attention to detail was when she helped us secure a microphone for the rehearsal dinner, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and personal touch made the entire experience so much easier and stress-free. Castle Manor Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first toured the property, the staff was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Kaylyn, the event coordinator, was fantastic - she was always quick to reply to our emails and questions, and she went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless. The venue itself is truly charming and unique, with a customizable layout that allowed us to create our dream wedding. The food, prepared by Chef Dan, was phenomenal - our guests are still raving about it. The entire staff at Castle Manor Inn was friendly and helpful, and they eased our stress throughout the planning process. It's a fantastic operation, and we're so grateful we chose this venue for our special day.

We had a room block here for our wedding in Beverly, and hosted a brunch the day after (you have to have a catered event at the hotel in order to have a room block). Overall, our experience was pretty good. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were beautiful. The King Suite was great to get ready in - I had 11 people getting hair and makeup done, with 4 artists, and there was enough space. Having the Regatta Pub on site was perfect for a welcome event and post-wedding spot and could easily accommodate a large influx of people. The brunch was ready to go with plenty of tasty food and drink. They also were able to hand out welcome bags when guests checked in. Kristen, who organized the room block, was extremely communicative and responsive to our emails, and helped us add rooms to our block a couple times. We are rating 4/5 stars for a couple reasons. First is that housekeeping never came to the suite to clean after we had left for the wedding, so we returned at the end of the night to all of the room-service coffee/breakfast items that had arrived at 8:30 that morning. When we called the front desk, no one answered. Secondly, while the brunch was great, they do charge a large room fee and administrative fee.

My husband and I got married at the Hilton in Woburn on 6/8/24. Anyone that knows me, knows I stress about everything like there is no tomorrow. The Hilton put all my worries at ease. I did have a few different wedding coordinators throughout the process but they all were very helpful and communicated well with one another when switching to a different coordinator. Ruth and Kari- the best of the best! Responded quickly if I had any questions or concerns. We had our ceremony and reception at the Hilton. Kari and Alli (director of banquets)- words cannot even express how grateful I felt having both of them help with the ceremony entrances as we had an odd amount of people in the wedding party. Kari and Alli were both there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was set up the way I envisioned it. We had a wonderful wedding at the Nahant Country Club. Yasmene and Heather were great to work with and our wedding ran incredibly smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, our guests had a great time. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we additionally received an off season discount. Their wedding packages include so much beyond the standard wedding packages including the use of the bridal suite, appetizers/champagne in the bridal suite on the wedding day, use of their (beautiful) centerpieces, a separate happy hour for the wedding party during photographs and much more. Yasmene went above and beyond on our wedding day- she even sewed my nephew's superhero mask when it broke. Many of our guests commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they had ever seen. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our selection of the Nahant Country Club. It is a beautiful venue run by incredibly efficient and kind women!

The Oceanview of Nahant was the 2nd and last wedding venue we toured because we immediately fell in love. Photos cannot do the Oceanview justice - this venue is immaculate, swoon-worthy, and a ‘hidden gem’ just outside of Boston! By some miracle, they had a last-minute opening for an evening wedding and we planned our "simplistic, but elegant with a touch of nautical" dream wedding in just under a year. From our tour with Brenda (Owner) to our wedding day, everything was flawless. My husband and I cannot praise the staff enough, but a huge shout-out goes to our point of contact & day of coordinator, Allison (Director of Weddings & Events). She went above and beyond, answering all of our questions, including working with her bartenders to ensure our special signature raspberry sangria was a hit and that everything ran like clockwork on the big day. We also want to thank Lish, our co day-of coordinator, for being so joyful and also making sure our moving our florals from the ceremony to the reception looked perfect. Our guests raved about the food (the lamb passed apps were a hit!) and enjoyed exploring all the different spaces from ballroom to cocktail lounge, terraces & “lawn” games! It's been just over a week since our wedding, and we’re still in awe of our day. If you are considering having your special day at the Oceanview, book it. It's worth every penny.

My now husband and I had an amazing experience at Stonebridge! The venue is beautiful and Halley was wonderful. Very friendly, wicked quick with communication, and super thoughtful. She help me pick out colors and center pieces (which were perfect!) , that was really helpful and took all that stress off me. We had a pretty small wedding, about 20 people, and everyone had an amazing time. The staff was very professional and friendly. The chef was helpful and understanding of a couple of our picky eaters, both him and Halley worked with us to make sure everyone had something to eat that they like. Speaking of food, the food was awesome, even my husbands Italian grandfather loved it! I wouldn't have changed anything about that day 10/10 would recommend.
