“I genuinely don’t know how our wedding would have gone without her!!!! Ok, backstory: my husband was deployed while we were planning our wedding. Jess was the first photographer we interviewed — and the only one, because we hired her immediately. She was so accommodating and set up our initial phone call so my husband could join. I was in California, she was in Ohio, and my husband was in Turkey. Once we talked, we knew she was the perfect choice. And honestly, the photos on her website were already GORGEOUS. We had an intimate microwedding with fewer than 30 people. Everything was scheduled for late December 2023, but about two months before the wedding my husband’s deployment was extended into the new year. We had to reschedule, and I was devastated. Jess was so helpful and understanding — she completely put our minds at ease, and I’m still so grateful for her support through all of that. Fast forward to February 2024: we finally planned our engagement photos two days before the wedding and were able to meet Jess in person!!! By then, she and I had been talking for months about everything wedding-related. She ended up being more than just our photographer — she was our photographer, unofficial planner, therapist, and chaos coordinator! Her attention to detail, professionalism, and input were invaluable. I soaked up all her suggestions; I’ve never planned a wedding before, so I was open to everything! She even planned out our entire wedding day timeline in such detail that it completely put us at ease. My husband had been dreading having to take so many photos, but Jess made the whole experience easy and fun. When we saw the final photos, we were like, “Wait… how did she get that shot?!” Half the time we didn’t even know where she was — she’s that good. On our wedding day she acted almost as another coordinator to make sure we had everything we needed, and she also made sure we were always having fun.
