Hi, I’m Nikki, the photographer behind Camp Loom Studio! I’m a Cincinnati wedding photographer serving the tri-state area including Northern Kentucky, and surrounding areas! (Really I'll go anywhere) I’ve been behind a camera for 15 years and earned my BFA in Photography from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. My style blends candid, documentary storytelling with artistic editorial portraits. I’m laid-back, creative, a little goofy, and firmly believe your wedding should feel like a wedding, not an 8-hour photoshoot!

My morality with weddings always comes back to one core belief: this day should NOT feel like it was tailored ONLY for instagram. My job is to make you feel like you don't remember taking photos for 3 hours straight in order to cherish your new forever partner. My incredible observation, laid back energy, documentary style of shooting feels like a fly on the wall. I will capture all the required mom, dad, close family moments, we will get funky fresh with your portrait sessions but above all else? We are going to have fun. You only get ONE day to take it allllll in, and instead of taking you away from your cocktail we flow together!

    We had a great experience getting a golden hour photoshoot done with our senior dog. She is no longer with us and these photos are such a beautiful reminder of her. Nikki is very professional while also being friendly, personable and creative. Her photography skills and editing are great and her process is easy. We will definitely be booking another shoot in the future!

    Our family had the honor of having our family pictures taken by Nikki. I was pretty anxious having a baby involved in the process, but Nikki was so patient, kind and worked with what we could give her. From the beginning of the session, Nikki was so warm and reassuring, she was helpful with posing and honestly just let us be ourselves. We received our pictures very quickly and I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. She managed to capture perfectly the love our family has for one another. I cannot wait to book her again.

I’ve been a photographer for about 15 years and earned my BFA in Photography from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. After taking some time away, I returned to photography in 2024 with a renewed love for documenting people and the moments that matter most. My approach blends years of technical experience with an artistic, documentary eye to create wedding photographs that feel genuine, intentional, and true to you. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and completely present on your wedding day while I capture the story unfolding around you.
This is actually my favorite question because almost everyone I have captured including MYSELF have said it. Unless you're behind a camera lens professionally it will never feel comfortable, that is why you hire me! I know exactly how to pose you to make it look and feel effortless, candid, expressive, and timeless. Don't worry about anything, any insecurity or uncertainty can be posed in a way that is minimized because your happiness will shine through into your portraits, candids and sessions. My job is to make YOU be seen that transcends past a pretty smile, your photographs will be felt - not just seen.
YES! I have 15 years experience doing portrait photography and about 2 years experience juggling videography, second shooting, first person shooting, I planned my OWN wedding from the top down and I will do the same for you. Think of me as your shadow, your guide, your assistant to your big day as we navigate together.
I absolutely do. I currently am located in Cincinnati but I often travel for weddings, that is part of the fun! I will go as far as you need me! *Out of country, and Longer distances accepted with applicable costs.
I am! No size of family, party or wedding guest amount is too large for my capacity or equipment. I know how to flow with you, your family and your guests in a way that is seamless and effortless. If I need to break out the loudspeaker for some rowdiness? I absolutely will!
YES! Each session is shot with an SD + Compact Flash memory card. There are 4 total slots for your big day, and I capture with over 512GB on each card. The night of your wedding I store the entire day on my external memory drive and have equipment recovery options. I shoot on TWO camera bodies, a drone, and offer second shooters depending on coverage types.

Once we have had our client call and our goals seem aligned you will be directed to my website. I offer generic packages but will custom tailor our project if we need more coverage. An email will be sent with your contract, your details followed by your deposit and final payment 1 week prior to the event. Payment plans are optional in a maximum of 4x if needed for couples who are seeking a budget friendly option. Tips are optional through the digital portal as well!
