“We were lucky enough to have DJ Ansar as our wedding DJ this past weekend, and he exceeded all expectations! I was tasked with handling the music, and initially, I gave him very little to work with—just that we liked “everything we grew up with.” Despite my vague direction, Ansar crafted the perfect vibe, playing songs that matched the energy of each moment. You could throw him something as abstract as “Malibu sunset,” and he would still nail it.
Throughout the entire planning process, Ansar was incredibly easy to work with. He was always willing to jump on a call, bringing great energy and professionalism every step of the way. His MC skills are top-tier, and we had so many guests throughout the night complimenting his music selections, saying he was absolutely killing it. He has an amazing MC voice and tone, and his energy behind the mic really elevated the entire night.
Even during dinner—when most weddings tend to slow down—Ansar kept the atmosphere alive with upbeat, perfectly timed tracks. Multiple guests came up to us saying, “We love this song!” He truly knows how to read the room, move seamlessly through different genres, and keep the party going without missing a beat.
