“Our wedding was beautiful, we couldn’t have asked for a better day or venue. The castle was a stunning backdrop for our wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Meyer’s Castle and each piece came perfectly together. The newly redecorated bridal suite is gorgeous and my bridal party and I felt like royalty getting ready. The florals and gardens were stunning and there is an Instagram worthy photo spot around every corner. Our coordinator, Eva, did a great job setting up all of our decor and was very communicative throughout the planning process. Eva and the MC team accommodated everything we wanted to include on our special day and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about our wedding. Everyone loved the food and even loved the table wine, numerous guests took photos of the wine so that they could buy a bottle later on. We are so glad to have started the rest of our lives together after saying “I Do” at Meyer’s Castle; surrounded by family, friends, and 2 beautiful peacocks that roam the grounds.”

“When I first visited Bay Pointe as a potential wedding venue, I actually ended up shedding a couple of tears. I had this immediate feeling that this was the place I had to get married. Not only is the venue, absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself, but it made me feel like the wedding I dreamed of as a kid on the lake could come true. Working with the staff was such an incredible experience. They were extremely communicative on when deadlines were due, recommendations, and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend looking into Bay Pointe as a wedding venue because of the many options that they provide. Not only are there a couple of venues on site, but they provide great food, options, desserts, vendors, and more! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and we would not change a thing and that is all thanks to our beautiful venue!”

“I highly recommend William's Orchard as your venue if you're considering it. Throughout the wedding planning process the team was communicative and helpful. They were accommodating down to the last day before the wedding, helping our dream come to life. The team had great ideas too when it came to catering and small details that ultimately improved our guest experience. The venue itself is gorgeous and our guests had a blast. We're still getting compliments on the day. A nice touch was being able to have dinner in the orchard, a last minute decision we made that was recommended by the team and ultimately helped the day flow better. I can't recommend William's Orchard enough!”

“Before my now husband and I were even engaged we scoped out journeyman at their Valparaiso location for a potential wedding reception venue. My husband and I are Valparaiso University alumni. Valparaiso was where our love story began, and from the moment we went to dinner at Journeyman I knew it HAD to be the spot for our reception. The process could not have been easier, despite us living over 2000 miles away, all thanks to our amazing coordinator, Kaley! We cannot thank her and the Journeyman team enough for making our wedding PERFECT. We are huge foodies and have been to plenty of weddings where the meal was lackluster, but Journeyman was FANTASTIC. A ton of our guests even mentioned after that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The bar, of course, was incredible. The venue itself was perfect. We were able to utilize the rooftop patio and everyone loved it. If you are having a Valparaiso wedding there’s no question this is the spot you want!”

“Once we found The Lodge at Rush Lakes for our wedding venue, we knew it was the one! Logan and Dustin are the most down to earth and thoughtful guys who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamt of, plus more! We met with them multiple times on the property to go over everything wedding related. We live over 2 hours away and this place was worth the drive every single time! I could not recommend Rush Lakes enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue, special occasion, reunion, family gathering, bridal shower, baby shower, etc. We also worked with a handful of vendors recommended by Logan that have done events at Rush Lakes before, so the process was so incredibly easy! Being able to spend the weekend with our pups, friends, and family before and after our wedding day made it so much more special too. Being able to have our dogs be a part of our day meant everything to us and Rush Lakes made that possible. The whole property is stunning, there is not one bad spot for photos! Everything was perfect and I could talk highly about Rush Lakes for days on end. THE PERFECT VENUE!!! I miss it every single day. Thank you Logan and Dustin for making the wedding of my dreams possible!!!”

“Solasta was a surprise to me in that it simply wasn’t on my radar, but I’m glad I stopped by when I saw it just off the road. The mulled wine I tried tasted great and wasn’t cloyingly sweet. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful, and the interior was warm and inviting. The wine menu was surprisingly large, and the mulled wine actually used multiple wines to get the profile they were after. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and like wine.”

“Fernwood really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and their rates very affordable! They were very responsive to my many questions, and very helpful on the day of our wedding. They even let us use an extra classroom for the groomsmen to get ready in. They were also really flexible. You can’t really go wrong here, and the garden itself can be your decor! We also left one item behind by accident which we were able to pick up a few days later. Lots of “areas” to choose from for your day, too. Only complaint was the poison Ivy growing along some of the pathways, which were already fairly narrow. We just used alternate paths and it was no big deal!”

“Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.”

“My husband and I got married at North Lake October 4th, 2025 and had the most beautiful backdrop to the day. North Lake was incredible to work with and were so accommodating. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the venue was. Dan really has put so much thought behind every detail from not having any curbs or steps making it incredibly handicap accessible to constantly making upgrades that only add to the experience. My husband and I are both huge baseball fans and we got married on a Cubs Brewers postseason game that started at 2pm. The tv in the groom's room was not working and Dan brought a tv from his own home and had it set up in time for the game. Any questions I had were promptly responded to by Danelle and she was so sweet and personable. If you're looking for a venue where you have the control of which vendors to work with while not missing out on the location and luxuries of an inclusive venue I'd highly recommend North Lake.”

“I picked this location because of how beautiful the landscape is. So many different spots on the property to get married on, all beautiful. Different locations cost different price. Overall, relatively cheap compared to other venues. When talking to them, I first started with one wedding coordinator. She left and was informed about the new coordinator. She introduced herself and thought she was awesome. She was very tentative to all the details and was very helpful. I wasn’t informed that she had left and a new coordinator had taken her spot. I didn’t know there was a new coordinator until the day before the wedding. She didn’t take charge of anything. She took a back seat to everything. Told her I had a specific song I wanted to play for walking down the aisle. There wasn’t any sort practice with the song at the rehearsal. She couldn’t figure out how to connect my phone to the sound system. She couldn’t figure out how to navigate the song that I had already pulled up on my phone.”

We received so many compliments from our guests. All the staff were so accommodating. Jess was our go to leading up to the wedding. We did a virtual tour with her as we live out of state and from the moment we met with her, we were hooked on the venue. Even with all of our random, tedious questions, she was so helpful along the way. We eventually had an in person tour and worked with Steph on customizing beers and wines that were a must for the wedding. We had 2 beer boys for the ceremony and they supplied the cans for this. She also set us girls up with seltzers and mimosas in the bridal suite on the day of. They didn’t miss a beat! The drinks were delicious and everyone loved them. I was able to meet Chris, one of the owners on wedding eve. There were some last minute things that needed to be nailed down and he helped communicate this to the Solarium team that night. The space was perfect for guests to roam by going outside, dancing or relaxing on the couches. They had so many nice add on features with no hidden fees. The cost was reasonable and well worth it. My husband loved having the option to use the golf sim since their is not a groom suite. The bridal suite was breathtaking and comfy; we had the perfect photo ops there. I wish we could re-live our wedding day all over again! We can’t thank the Solarium staff enough for making our wedding the Best. Day. Ever. We highly recommend this venue to any bride and groom!”

“Sundance & The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was responsive, helpful, and kind. They were attentive to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue itself was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful bridal suite and a cozy groomsman garage that provided the perfect getting ready spaces. When we had a mishap and spilled wine on one of the white tablecloths, they quickly steam cleaned it before the ceremony so you'd never know. And when we realized we had the wrong size tablecloths, they immediately provided the matching color we needed. Sundance & The Secret Garden truly helped make our wedding day one we'll never forget.”

“This venue was the perfect spot for our wedding for so many reasons. For starters, the owner Allison is wonderful to work with, she’s very kind and personable, we felt like she was just as excited for us as we were! The “boutique” is a phenomenal idea, they let previous couples leave any decor or wedding items behind there for future couples to use. As such we saved on some decor purchases that felt a little silly to buy for one day (like table numbers or signs). But the main event, our wedding, was so beautiful and our guests raved about the venue. It has great options and knowing you’ll be the only wedding on the premises that day helps. The fairy garden was exquisite, the prettiest place to get married. Our guests loved being able to eat inside (in the AC) and dance the night away outside. The manor house made for excellent pictures, and the carriage house was perfect for getting ready. All in all I would choose this place in a heartbeat every time. Top tier quality for a price far better than many other venues.”

“We planned a wedding for just over 1 year in a different time zone. From our first visit to the venue, we knew this would be the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding coordinator, Lisa, was always accommodating, gave us a very reasonable timeline and clear tasks to perform as well as due dates for payments, etc. We never felt overwhelmed by her requests and she kept us on track every step of the way. The last couple months were obviously more task intensive but due to her vast experience and clear communication we were never in doubt about what she expected from us. Additionally, during the planning process she provided multiple options for decor, venue arrangements, as well as vendor recommendations. We utilized the vendor recommendations for the photographer, florist, and cake, and each one exceeded our expectations. The photographer (Shane Lawrence Photography) was extremely professional and proficient, and produced quality photos (and video) that we will have for a lifetime. The florist (La Petite Fleuriste) created beautiful arrangements for the ceremony, gorgeous bouquets for the bridesmaids and bride, and assisted with center pieces for the reception tables. The cake (Val’s Cakes) was a breathtaking display of baking artistry and tasted incredible! The first time we saw the cake was during our entrance at the reception and we were blown away. Also, multiple guests commented to us about how delicious the cake was, a notable achievement for a wedding cake for one hundred people! The rehearsal itself went very smoothly and after only a couple iterations we left feeling confident the ceremony would be executed well. On the day of the wedding the suites were set up and ready for us including yummy snacks and beverages of our choice (must be purchased through the venue due to liquor laws). It was the perfect area to get ready. The garden was set up beautifully and we barely had to put thought into it! The appetizers at cocktail hour were delicious, the bartender was attentive and efficient throughout the night. We were pleasantly surprised at the dinner (our parents had to attend the tasting for us due to us living across the country). The chicken was moist, steak not overcooked and the sides were delicious! It all paired well together. Normally plated meals can be underwhelming, but the food at Aberdeen was exceptional. The wait staff was attentive, efficient and professional and there were adequate servers for the amount of tables we had. Throughout the entire night we felt supported by our coordinator and the entire staff, but they did not bother us with frivolous questions. Family and friends have been raving for days after the wedding about how nice the whole event was, and how good the food and drinks were. I wish I could replay the night again. I highly recommend Aberdeen Manor for a wedding or other special event.”

They stayed on top of every detail throughout the planning process and answered our questions quickly and thoughtfully which made planning so much easier. The space itself is stunning and welcoming, with plenty of room for our guests to move around comfortably. The food was fabulous and the service was seamless from start to finish. They also supplied and serviced the grazing table and wedding cake at the wedding ceremony. (The Bride's favorite part). We cannot recommend January, Tripp, and the entire Aerie Commons team enough—they truly made all our celebrations fabulous.”

About wedding venues in New Carlisle, IN

Indiana offers couples an impressive range of wedding venues that perfectly balance midwestern charm with sophisticated elegance at prices that won't break the bank compared to coastal states. What's the Average Cost of a Wedding in Indiana?

Larger celebrations scale up from $46,807 for 200 guests to $55,908 for 250 guests with 300-guest weddings averaging $65,009. Venues make up about 16% of your total budget at an average of $6,114 which is actually on the lower end of the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your other major expenses will include catering at 13% ($4,891) bar services at 10% ($3,913) and photography at 10% ($3,910).
