A Portland native, and founder of EC Matrimony, Ernie has become an expert in all things weddings. Having recently stepped away from a career in Marketing/Public Relations, Ernie has taken his business from part-time to full-time in 2021 to help more couples realize their wedding dreams. Throughout his 18 years in the industry, and having performed over 3,000 weddings, it’s easy to see why he’s been featured in bridal magazines, national IG posts, and been featured in Huffington Post twice, and on realty TV. Add to that the dozens of national awards he’s won over the years, and you can tell why he’s in demand as a wedding officiant.

Hi! My name is Anna Soco (she/her) and I'm the PNW's premiere Queer wedding officiant and believer in love. My work is rooted in the belief that love is alive, communal, and transformative - and because of that, your wedding ceremony should be, too! I work with soulmates of all kinds to create ceremonies that reflect what truly matters most to you. My clients (y'all!) are my "co" - each new client relationship is an opportunity to learn more about love, together. I adore, appreciate, and learn from each and every one of you. And I never quit rooting for my couples!

With 23+ years as a rabbi, I create deeply personal Jewish, interfaith, and LGBTQ+ wedding ceremonies that honor your unique love story. I officiate ceremonies throughout the nation and internationally—travel costs are quoted individually based on your location. Whether you envision an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I'll craft a ceremony that reflects your values, traditions, and vision for your special day. Let's create something beautiful together!

Hello, I’m Javier, a bilingual officiant who believes every love story is unique and deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels personal, genuine, and unforgettable. I’m incredibly lucky to do what I love- helping couples tell their stories through ceremonies that reflect who they are and what makes their relationship special. Whether you’re looking for traditional ceremony or something more unconventional, I’ll work with you to create a personalized experience that feels right for you. I approach every ceremony with the same excitement and dedication to make it a memorable occasion.

I create completely custom wedding ceremonies for couples who want something personal, meaningful, spiritual, and magical. With 20+ years of experience in mindfulness, ritual, public speaking, storytelling, and personal growth, I craft each ceremony around your story, values, humor, and vision. From heartfelt and simple to ancient traditions, handfasting, nature-based rituals, meditation, or even a mead ceremony, I love working with creative, adventurous, spiritual, fantasy-loving, and nontraditional couples.

I’m passionate about working with diverse and interfaith couples who want their ceremonies to reflect who they are in full color. Love is not one-size-fits-all, and neither should be the moment you say “I do.” I collaborate to ensure your ceremony feels personal, flexible, and true to your hearts. Every ceremony I craft is designed to make couples feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Some include bilingual vows, English, Spanish, or Spanglish, so family feels included. Others honor traditions like arras, lazo, or unity candles. Still others create new rituals unique to their story. Let’s create a ceremony that reflects your unique love.

I offer wedding ceremonies rooted in presence, intention, and genuine care—creating a meaningful, grounded experience for your union. Through Heart Man Healing Arts, my work is guided by a background in spiritual care, sacred companioning, and ritual. I take time to understand your relationship, values, and what matters most, so your ceremony reflects who you truly are. From simple ceremonies to more personalized experiences with ritual and vows, I provide a steady, supportive presence so you feel at ease and fully present on your wedding day.

Anthony is a licensed attorney who started officiating weddings in Oregon as a Judge (hence our company’s former name, The Wedding Judge). Matrimony Northwest has expanded in the 15 years since Anthony officiated his first wedding and has added two additional officiants—Emily and Henry. The three of them have officiated thousands of weddings in the Pacific Northwest in all different types of venues - back yards, courtrooms, coffee shops, beaches, mountain vistas, and more. Anthony is only the second person to have officiated a wedding in the Oregon State Capitol Building, and the only person to do so in modern times.
