Now I've expanded into portraits, engagement sessions, and I've done small weddings. I'm a Chicago native but I've also lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Texas, & now Mississippi!! What can I say, I enjoyed a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. I also just got married on August 31st, so I know how it feels to be both a service provider and a customer! When I started photography I felt almost embarrassed that I was doing something, that at the time, seemed so cliche. I knew I had a lot of growing to do as a photographer and I was eager to learn. After a lot of prayers, I put my work out in the world to be critiqued and judged. I had a few critics but mostly, I had support and encouragement. All of a sudden I started receiving inquiries for engagements and graduation sessions. People actually wanted to pay me for doing something I love to do. It was like getting paid to go to the beach!
