“When I was looking for a woodsy venue to get married at on the east coast, I stumbled upon Woodsgate at Stroudsmoor and it immediately stood out to me! We could get married surrounded by trees, with the ease of an all inclusive reception a short walk away. When we visited and saw the woodland chapel, even in the middle of winter, my breath was taken away and I wanted to cry because of how perfect and beautiful it is. It’s very secluded and has a lit-up walk to the ceremony site up an adorable path, and the reception hall has a cozy homey feel, while being straight out of a fantasy novel. We didn’t need much floral decor because of how beautiful everything is already, but the floral we did get was the perfect finishing touch, and I’m still obsessing over my bouquet. Aside from the gorgeous fairytale setting, the service was phenomenal and both our planner, Malia, and the staff were there to see to all our needs and make the day as stress-free and easygoing as possible. Malia was always quick to answer any questions, and was very willing to bring our unconventional ideas like Rock Band karaoke at the reception to life. Sometimes with all-inclusive venues you’re limited with customizing the wedding but that was not at all the case with Stroudsmoor. Everyone was so kind, professional, and our guests raved about the incredible food and service. I couldn’t imagine getting married at a more perfect place, and highly recommend this to anyone looking to have their own whimsical woodland wedding!!”

“Magnolia was a dream for me and my husband!! I was very discouraged by the venue search and had almost given up when I stumbled across Magnolia. It looked so gorgeous I was afraid the pictures were misleading me. But while the outside doesn’t look like much when you drive up, inside it’s a fairytale world. We were in love from the moment we saw it, and all my guests were stunned. The space felt rustic and secluded—like you’re out in the woods somewhere with the sound of the river all around you. And Magnolia has built up the property with an elegance that makes it even more dreamlike. And I can’t say enough about the venue coordinator, Cheyenne! She literally worked miracles to make it possible for us to have our wedding there. This woman is sharp and incredibly knowledgeable and organized. Her recommendations and tips saved me so much. She’s super honest and upfront about things, and she does her best to take the stress and pressure of the wedding off of you. She also is very caring. Throughout the entire process, she was attentive, and I felt like she cared about me as a person, not just another client. On the day-of, she created space for my husband and I in the bustle and went out of her way to help with whatever we, or the wedding party, needed. It never felt like having a stranger around, and I knew I could trust her to handle any mishap. I highly, highly recommend her wedding planning services even if you don’t end up using the venue itself. Some tips: I personally think Magnolia works better for smaller, more intimate weddings. We had about 60 people, which filled the space nicely, but I have trouble imagining how the max amount of people (120) would fit on the dance floor. I wouldn’t recommend having a lot of vendors and tech either. I think it would clash with the space. We also really enjoyed renting out cabins for our wedding party. The rooms are nice, and it allowed us to soak in the weekend. Another great thing: the property is the perfect size for getting cool photos—small enough to walk but large enough to find lots of lovely locations. Definitely take advantage of that! I highly recommend Magnolia. I don’t know how our wedding could have been more beautiful or peaceful, and I thank all the staff at Magnolia for caring for us.”

The space for our whole day was absolutely stunning - great for our guests as they could be inside or outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery. The bridal attendants were so thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed on the day, including making sure we had plenty of food to taste during our photos. Trout Lake truly went above and beyond for us, and the whole staff was incredible, making our day so special. “Our wedding at Shawnee was nothing short of magical. Our wedding took place on October 5, 2024, at Shawnee Inn. From the moment we secured the venue, Tabitha was incredibly supportive and consistently available to assist us. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at this location, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Upon our arrival on Thursday, Jorge welcomed us warmly and provided invaluable assistance in transporting our wedding items to the conference room. On Friday, our guests participated in a round of golf, with JJ and Nick playing a pivotal role in organizing the outing. That evening, we held a welcome barbecue for all attendees, where the food was fantastic and the staff exemplary. On the morning of our wedding, we were treated to brunch while we prepared for the ceremony. Tabitha checked in frequently to ensure everything was proceeding smoothly. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn, which was breathtaking. It was followed by cocktail hour under the pavilion, which was truly stunning. The food and service during the cocktail hour were outstanding, with LaCresha ensuring that we, the brides, were well-fed and had drinks in hand. The reception took place in the main ballroom, where the dinner was delicious and the staff continued to impress us with their service. We concluded the celebration at the Brewery, where the staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It was a flawless day, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved. We had no complaints whatsoever. The following day, we hosted a farewell brunch on the front porch, and once again, the staff was attentive, and the food was remarkable. The bloody mary bar was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the wonderful time they had at Shawnee. The hotel itself is beautiful and exudes charm; although it is an older establishment, it possesses a unique character. The friendly and helpful staff significantly enhanced our special day. We highly recommend Shawnee to anyone seeking a memorable venue.”

The Settlers Inn

“My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!”

“My husband and I chose this as our wedding venue. Some months before our wedding they had implemented a team of women to help with any questions and planning. These ladies were extremely helpful with answering questions and were typically quick to respond. The day before our wedding, we went to set up the tables and decorations I had made. The inn keeper Tricia was super kind and let me feel like I had a full run of the venue to do whatever I had envisioned. She basically told me I could do whatever I needed, and if I needed extra hands for help to let her know and she would get me help. The day of the wedding was very hot, and there was an unfortunate breakdown of the AC in our getting ready room and suite for the night. They placed us in the next Best room for the night and got us in a cooler space for getting ready. Even with that, if I had to do the wedding all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I am so grateful to the team working with me leading up to the wedding day as well as everybody involved to make our wedding day so special. If you choose this place as your wedding venue, I feel as though you will not be disappointed, even when things go wrong.”

“Absolutely obsessed with this venue. The barn and property were beautiful, the breathtaking views of the mountains made pictures so beautiful. Getting to have the venue for the whole weekend really helped to relax both before and after the wedding. We got to spend more time with our bridal party and soak in the whole weekend with them.
