Tina with Oh My, Gorgeous was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day beauty needs. From the very first email to the trial and wedding day, Tina was incredibly sweet, quick to reply, and so friendly in all of our communications. When it came to the quality of her work, I was blown away - the makeup she did for me and my bridal party was absolutely beautiful, and the value was incredibly reasonable compared to other vendors I had looked at. Molly Kummerle (DJ Molly Parti) was born with a natural passion for music, which has woven its way throughout her life. As a DJ, her passion lies in curating the soundtrack for any occasion through music - from silent discos, decade-themed dance parties, house parties, weddings, private and corporate events, venues, or on her channel as a Twitch live streamer. Awarded Best of Zola
We truly cannot thank Molly enough for everything. She not only showed up for us, she SHOWED OUT. From the moment we met Molly on Zoom, we knew she was gonna be the perfect person for us to handle our many music ideas and dreams. Her kind, authentic, fun, sweet, and positive energy and vibes are contagious. Music is a very important part of me and my wife’s relationship, so it was very important that we found someone who wasn’t just a DJ, but who also understood the importance of music and how it can be a foundational piece of a relationship and how music can influence and enhance experiences. Molly not only understands that, but she lives and breathes that, and it comes through in her gift of helping you curate the soundtrack to the best day of your life. I had envisioned every part of our wedding over and over, and created playlists to those moments, and Molly and her app allowed us to easily and seamlessly put that vision together. I can’t tell you how many times I listened to those playlists and pictured our wedding day, and she made it all happen, flawlessly. Every one of our music fantasies came through exactly as we had hoped and dreamed, all of which was made possible because of Molly. She even created a version of an ODESZA song just for us that would be timed exactly right for our first kiss after we said our I Dos and that played as we walked back up the aisle together. It was perfect and exactly how I pictured it. Molly will be as hands-on or hands-off as you want her to be. She meets you where you’re at and uses her professional expertise and experience to help guide you in the right direction while you’re on your wedding journey full of never-ending decisions. During the reception, she kept the vibes UP all night, she read the room, and she had people on the dance floor the entire time (especially us). I don’t think I’ve danced that much in my entire life. And we’re ravers lol. She gave us our dream dance party, and we had an absolute blast. Everybody loved her and thought she KILLED it. We got so many comments from our guests saying, “your DJ was amazing!!” Even people we didn’t expect to see dancing made an appearance or two on the dance floor. She hit on so many levels, and we are sooo beyond grateful for her. Also, her energy is just magnificent and infectious! I literally felt so happy whenever she’d walk up to us, I was like “omg hi, I’m so happy to see you,” like we were old friends. She is professional and fun all in one. She has a very calming and grounding presence, too, which was very much needed and appreciated on wedding day. Long story short, Molly was the only DJ we talked to and we never once regretted that decision. She was an angel to us before and during the wedding. We are already trying to figure out when we can go see her play! The best advice in wedding planning we got was this: if you follow your gut and hire the right people, you can trust your decision and you can trust the professional that you hired to get the job done right. And we are so glad we followed our gut and hired DJ Molly Parti :)

Henderson Acres is truly beyond anything we could’ve hoped for with our wedding venue. First their actual outdoor space and house is so beautiful it is straight out of a magazine- picture perfect. The decor and stone within the house is such an elevated look we were in awe of. They are constantly adding things to the space and not to add things you need to pay for but to offer plenty of things for you to enjoy to use during your day. For instance there was several items of decor we used from them that we decided day of to use and the flexibility of that is incredible. They have a reasonably priced furniture package that their venue staff helps set up on wedding day and they have a retractable tent in case of inclement weather. Next the staff is absolutely incredible. Seriously beyond kind, helpful, responsive, and authentically caring. Planning the wedding was a dream with them, and the staff the day of was beyond kind and helpful ensuring the day ran smoothly. An example, we had one guest who was in a wheelchair and had to have an uber come to the venue for pick up/drop off - the staff without being asked drove to the bottom of the driveway waited for the uber and personally escorted them to the top. That kind of hospitality was noticed by our guests who raved about their kindness. I could write about so many more amazing things this venue has to offer. We received countless (truly countless) compliments on this venue and the venue staff - from the beauty of the space to the kindness and authentic care everyone felt. Our photographer captured the day perfectly with such beauty and somehow you’re still amazed seeing the space in person. I think there is something special about a family owned business and this venue is a prime example of it! Without a doubt the best decision we made in our wedding planning was booking Henderson Acres after so much searching - couldn’t recommend more!!!!

I’m an Asheville-based photographer and lover of the great outdoors, home cooked meals, hot summer days, and going on adventures. We had the best experience working with Nick for our engagement photos! From the moment we met him, he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and guided us through poses in a way that felt natural, relaxed, and fun. We shot at The Looking Glass and up in the mountains, and the views and locations he helped us choose were absolutely breathtaking—truly unforgettable. Nick brought such an easy, positive energy to the session and turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into one we genuinely enjoyed. Our photos turned out stunning, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, thoughtful, and amazing to work with!

By the luck of the draw, Nathan was available for our very quickly planned wedding--we snagged the last date he had in June 2024. I was ecstatic because I had always admired his work. My now husband and I had a blast working with him, we never thought taking photos/videos would be one of the highlights of our big day but it really was. The whole family loved working with Nathan, too. He was laid back but nothing short of a true professional--he was somehow everywhere, capturing everything yet never in the way. He went with the flow with funny family eccentricities that popped up and made everyone feel comfortable. Our photos and video got back to us in shockingly record time and we can't choose favorites because we love them all. Multiple people we've shared photos have said, "that looks straight out of Vogue or a magazine." If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Nathan in any capacity, whether it be a wedding or other shoot, do not pass this amazing artist up.

Choosing the right photographer is a big deal—truly one of the decisions that can make or break your entire experience. We met Nathan at the very beginning of our journey, during our engagement shoot at the Biltmore Estate. We were both nervous, awkward, and completely unsure of what to expect. Then Nathan arrived, and everything changed. Within minutes he had us laughing, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying ourselves. That was the moment we knew he wasn’t just talented—he was special. So when it came time to choose someone to capture our wedding in Sedona, we took a chance and asked if he would fly out. Honestly, we thought it was a long shot… but he immediately said yes. And thank goodness he did. I will never forget the moment he walked into the room on my wedding day. I had just started feeling that wave of nerves while finishing my hair, and the instant Nathan stepped in, I felt completely at ease. How does he do that? He has this quiet magic about him—an ability to ground you, hype you up, and disappear into the background all at once. His passion is infectious. His eye for intimate, meaningful moments is unreal. And somehow, while capturing every single one of those moments, he manages to remain practically invisible. When we received our gallery, we both laughed, cried, and sat there in awe. It felt like reliving the day, but through the lens of someone who truly understood us. To put it simply: Nathan is gifted. Exceptionally, unmistakably gifted. We even showed our engagement photos to another top-tier photographer, and her reaction was: “Book him immediately. His editing is some of the most incredible work I’ve seen—I want to talk to him myself!” If you're reading reviews trying to decide who to trust with your memories, stop here. You’ve found the one. Nathan exceeded every expectation we had—and then ten more we didn’t even know we should have. He is the best of the best.

Irvin Music Studio
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Solo performer
  • Starts at $450
  • Serves Mountain Home, NC

This small company serves as a hub for Sam and Kylie Irvin's musical projects based in Asheville, NC. They are passionate performers, educators, and advocates for the arts with years of training and experience in the field. With a broad range of interests, this couple and their colleagues can offer an extensive variety of instruments like solo classical guitar, guitar/violin duet and Kylie B. & the Birds, a jazz ensemble.

Sam played at my niece's outdoor wedding in September, and was a joy to have with us that day. His pop and jazz concert prior to the ceremony, the classical music he played for the processionals, and the music at the end and afterwards during photos really elevated the whole morning. He is a talented musician, dresses very well, was super easy to work with regarding the program, showed up on time and is a true professional. I would hire him again in a minute, can't say enough nice things about the whole experience and how easy and beautiful he made it for our family to add music to the day.

We hired DJ Ryan for our wedding in early May 2026 at Rumbling Bald at Lake Lure, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our entire day. My wife and I both have extensive musical backgrounds, so finding a DJ who could truly collaborate with us on the music was incredibly important. Ryan didn't just meet that bar; he blew right past it. From our very first phone call through the last song, Ryan was exceptional. He handled our pre-processional music, processional, ceremony audio, cocktail hour, reception, and post-reception dance party with the same level of care throughout. We didn't have an official wedding planner, so Ryan went above and beyond by reviewing our day-of plans, serving as a sounding board, identifying potential timeline issues, and helping coordinate with our other vendors. He took an enormous amount off our plates. Working with Ryan felt less like hiring a vendor and more like collaborating with a creative partner. We discussed the exact atmosphere we wanted and gave him playlists, must-plays, like-to-plays, and absolute do-not-plays. He nailed all of it. One of our favorite moments happened when my wife and I stepped away for sunset photos. Many family members hadn't seen each other in a long time and were catching up. Rather than fight that energy with upbeat music, Ryan recognized what was happening and shifted into softer songs from artists he knew we loved. When we returned, he read the room again and brought everyone right back onto the dance floor. Later, he played “Love Train” and got everyone into a Conga line. Kids, parents, grandparents, and everyone in between joined in. It was one of the highlights of the night. Ryan also handled our outdoor ceremony flawlessly. We were right on the water with a steady breeze and occasional strong gusts, yet there was no noticeable wind noise or feedback. He made sure both our officiant and I were properly miked and adjusted the processional levels perfectly. As our MC, Ryan introduced the wedding party, announced toasts, and cued our dances and bouquet toss without a hitch. We have a big, loud, rambunctious family, and he kept everything moving without ever making the night feel rushed. He even handled a venue snafu during the cake cutting. When he realized the venue hadn't put out plates or utensils and our cake-cutting song wouldn't last through the delay, he calmly explained the situation and offered solutions to bridge the gap. What could have been an awkward moment became a total non-issue. And then there was the dance party. I can say with complete confidence that Ryan is the best wedding DJ I have ever experienced. His song selection and ability to read the room were perfect all night. At most weddings, someone has a complaint about the DJ. At ours, everyone—from kids to grandparents—agreed Ryan was phenomenal. Ryan and Remix Weddings were also completely upfront about pricing. While other vendors surprised us with additional costs, Ryan and his team were clear and honest from the beginning. Given the talent, professionalism, and care he brought, he was extremely reasonably priced. A wedding is a massive investment, and choosing Ryan means you get to actually enjoy your day instead of worrying about it. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and will recommend him to every engaged friend we have in the Asheville area. We cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Ryan, for helping make our day so incredible. We are forever grateful.

  • Dance floor not included
  • Does not allow pets
The property is so beautiful! My wedding was April 11 so there wasn’t really any leaves on the trees yet but the view of the mountains they have is so great you don’t really need them. It was fun getting to stay for a four day weekend and enjoy time with everyone on more than just the wedding day! We were able to do the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing all outside at this venue which was what was most important to me. We rented golf carts which was very useful because of how the property is split up by a hill.

We are over the moon with our photos and videos from Amy and John. The quality is incredible, and the quantity is unbelievable. They delivered an incredible amount of photos so quickly, and our friends and family have commented several times that it looks like our wedding was featured in a magazine spread because the quality is so impressive. We’ve been looking through them nonstop, and every time we see some new gem. They captured so many big and small moments throughout the weekend. It is incredible that they were able to capture so much without us or our guests feeling like there were cameras everywhere. They blended seamlessly, and it truly felt like we were just hanging out with them all day. They were so kind and lovely to work with and directed us beautifully, while allowing us to be ourselves and capturing genuine and authentic moments. They both brought such a calm presence. We can’t believe they captured so much content and so many angles when we don’t even remember them doing that - we mostly remember them being by our sides and talking and laughing with us. So many of our guests have said similar things. They truly impressed everyone and have given us so many incredible photos and videos to remember the weekend. Hiring them was such a great decision. We would 100% do it again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

If we could give more than 5 stars to Michael, we would. Michael is an amazing photographer and beyond that just a genuine amazing human being. When we first started looking for a photographer, we both went into it knowing that we are both incredibly awkward people when asked to pose. With this in mind, we started the big search - the one that everyone reminds you that will tell your stories for years. Enter finding Michael - his website mentioned candidness, and a documentary type of style. Two things that immediately caught our eye - not to mention looking through his previous work- which is just unbelievable! Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, Michael was incredibly helpful. He answered any questions we had and offered super helpful suggestions when figuring out the flow of the day. One tidbit that I would recommend to any bride is work with your photographer to create that timeline - a tidbit from Michael. He also managed to have a blog post for every type of question I had (and I had a lot LOL). A few weeks prior to the wedding, Michael met with us via zoom to go over the different elements of our days and to go over our family list (which was insanely helpful day of because we were able to knock those out)! When our wedding day arrived, he was there early to get everything set up and his presence just put everyone at ease. It felt like someone who had been part of our family friends rather than a wedding vendor - which was another element that was important to us: good vibes! Our wedding day and the pictures felt just like us - entertaining and full of laughter. We hiked through some trails for our first look, walked along a highway, and climbed rocks- which lead to nothing but new memories and lots of giggles. We both were really nervous about taking the posed pics but Michael put us in our natural element and just focused on capturing our story, which was a trend all throughout the day. None of us will ever forget the fact we forgot to tell him we had a 6 foot hoagie at the ceremony. We also had a blast using bubble guns for a photo op fake exit and learned there is such a thing as too many bubbles! Within a day after the wedding, we had a sneak peek - and we generally could not believe how AMAZING our photos turned out. It’s still surreal that we could look that good in photos, he captured exactly what we were hoping -us having the time of our life and starting our life together as husband and wife. CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH! P.S. Plus how awesome is it when your vendors are so cool that they feel like friends by the end of the wedding so you have to get a selfie to commemorate the hours of planning and talking you did to make the day one of the most incredible days EVER!!!

I started photography in 2017 and after being a part of many weddings, engagements, and family sessions, I still love what I do and I am deeply dedicated to serving my clients. I consider myself a storyteller and love capturing the little details, the half-smiles, and the simple motions. For me, it is about seeing the real, the lovely, and the messy moments, the everyday magic that tells the stories of our lives. Each wedding and session has its own unique story to tell and I challenge myself to capture those stories through my camera as best as I can and would be honored to capture yours too!
