Specializing in wedding hair and makeup services on location and in studio in the Asheville and surrounding areas of Western North Carolina. We have a large team of hair and makeup artists all specializing in weddings.

What sets Jeanne’s Hair and Makeup Studio apart is we have free consultations, and free trials with a gift of choice from the bridal box at time of trial in studio. We have our own space called the Hummingbird Cottage suitable to accommodate large wedding parties with space for bridal parties to bring and have brunch at the time of their appointment. We also pride ourselves in providing space availability for the wedding party to get ready for the event. In addition, with all makeup services, lashes and lipsticks are included for the bride and her bridal party.

    I was visiting from Greensboro NC to go to a wedding at the Baltimore. I had Jennie's hair salon do an up do hair style. She did a great job! Highly recommend!

    Jeanne's Hair and Makeup Studio was a wonderful addition to our son’s wedding day. From the direct communication leading up to the event, we felt confident in their ability to deliver. On the day of, our makeup artist made us feel very relaxed and at-ease, which helped set the tone for the rest of the day. She was also very open to our ideas and asked for our opinion throughout the process, which was key since we couldn't do a trial run beforehand. The relaxed atmosphere and interaction with our MUA at our place was a highlight, and we're so grateful for the way they contributed to making our special day perfect.

    Jeanne's Hair and Makeup Studio was an absolute pleasure to work with for my brother in laws wedding day. From the initial communication, the team was quick, kind, and efficient in addressing all of my questions and needs. The quality of their work was truly professional and they made both myself and the mother of the groom feel relaxed and beautiful. After having another vendor cancel on us last minute, Jeanne was a lifesaver and matched us with McKayla, who was an angel to work with. McKayla was on time, communicative, and paid close attention to detail while also being efficient with her time. She did both our hair and makeup, and made us look and feel absolutely stunning for our special day. I'm so grateful to Jeanne's Hair and Makeup Studio for contributing to making the wedding day perfect.

    Tatiana and Sarah, who were my hair and makeup stylists, were absolutely fantastic. I loved everything about my hair and MU, as did my bridesmaids. They are talented, kind, and professional. However, Jeanne, the owner of the company, I found difficult to work with. She would call out of the blue, several times in a row if I didn't answer, and then spend about 30 minutes on the phone talking about things unrelated to my wedding, including giving me her unsolicited political opinions, which I found unprofessional. She did the same during my trial, and my husband (who has longer hair) decided after our trials that he did not want to work with the company because he found Jeanne's unsolicited political opinions offensive. He ended up just styling his own hair day of, which was in no way related to Tatiana, who did his hair for the trial -- he thought she was a professional and appreciated her being willing to give him a trial too, but had found Jeanne off-putting. This was something else that was frustrating about Jeanne -- I had asked her if my mom and husband could also do trials, and she was happy to accommodate that. However, she did not communicate this to Tatiana, who was surprised (but graciously still worked with all of us) when we arrived. The best thing I can say about Jeanne is that she hires very talented staff! I would recommend Jeanne's if you are willing to put up working with Jeanne for scheduling and payment purposes, because I really loved her stylists. My five stars are for them!!
