Hi! I’m Bri! Cameras have always been a passion, but it wasn’t until I left my corporate job that I fully embraced photography as my calling. I started by capturing Jiu Jitsu, focusing on its raw intensity, but soon realized I love the mushy gushy moments—tearful vows, quiet glances, and the joy of saying “yes” to forever. Now, I specialize in weddings, elopements, engagements, and proposals, blending storytelling with emotion and movement. With a keen eye for detail, I create images that feel natural, artistic, and deeply personal—telling your story exactly as it is.

Ive done 2 photo shoots with Bri and she's been the absolute best to work with! She's always willing to listen to ideas and was great with my baby niece and nephew during family photos!

Mae Krell Photo

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we first connected with Mae Krell Photo, we were impressed by their communicative, helpful and knowledgeable approach. Mae was extremely friendly and guided us through the entire process, offering valuable suggestions that made our proposal even more special. The quality of her work is truly exceptional - the photos they captured are not only beautifully composed, but also incredibly meaningful and full of raw emotion that we will cherish forever. Mae was discreet and able to capture intimate, candid moments that truly reflect the joy and love of our proposal. Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!

Hey there! I'm Eric, an outdoor-loving, laid-back wedding photographer based in the Midwest who lives for capturing those real, unfiltered moments that make each love story unique. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me hiking trails or discovering new local breweries. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair—meaning I'll capture both those candid laughs during toasts and those naturally romantic moments during golden hour. The best photos happen when couples feel completely at ease and free to be themselves.

He has a way of making the whole experience feel natural and fun, putting us completely at ease in front of the camera. He captured our connection in such an authentic way. Kailey Louise Designs
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Montrose, SD

My name is Kailey Louise, a midwest-based photographer that enjoys a good cup of coffee in the morning, sitting lakeside with my family at our cabin, and third-wheeling some pretty amazing couples. I love capturing the moments that make life worth living + making sure you have beautiful memories to look back on. I will be your backseat co-pilot for your once-in-a-lifetime moments! I want you to remember the special days and the regular days. I strive to capture the candid, the posed the belly laughs, the surprises, and all of the in-between.

Awarded Best of Zola
Booking Kailey for our wedding was a decision I’d make 100x over. From start to finish, she was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. Her ability to capture the essence of our day so beautifully still has us speechless every time we look at our photos. Kailey was incredibly professional yet fun to be around; she struck the perfect balance of keeping things on track while making us laugh and feel completely at ease. When anything took longer than we planned, she was able to get us back on track while managing to capture all of the moments we wanted. As someone that is uncomfortable being photographed, she made it so easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera. What really stood out was her level of organization. She coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, keeping the day flowing smoothly without us ever having to worry. Every moment felt effortless because of how well she planned and communicated. And the pictures were absolutely stunning. The way she sees the world through her lens is something special. We loved seeing the day through her eyes and are so grateful to have these memories captured so beautifully. Kailey is a true talent, and working with her was one of the best choices we made for our wedding and engagement photos.

Roman Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Montrose, SD

I spent 10 years as a photojournalist covering news, sports, and political campaigns, and for the past 25 years I’ve photographed weddings with the same calm, observant approach. That experience taught me how to anticipate moments, work quickly in changing light, and capture genuine emotion without getting in the way. I focus on the natural moments as they unfold, keep portraits relaxed with gentle direction, and make family photos organized and efficient so they do not take you away from your wedding for long.

My wife and I used Roman Photography's services for our wedding in 2015 - we absolutely adore the the photos. Our fun and family were captured beautifully. We loved the work so much, we contacted Roman again ten years later to do our anniversary photos. Roman came out and did another magnificent job. He kept things playful and light (we're both uncomfortable in front of the camera) but still professional. I can't recommend Roman Photography enough!

  • Serves Montrose, SD

Hello! My name is Aanna and I can't wait to meet you. When I was seven years old, my parents gifted me with a tape recorder. It became my aim to document life in my home and beyond—an ongoing narration. Fast forward a few years and I brought my journalism to a new level when I spent my hard earned money on a camera. The rest is history—and a longer story for a future coffee date :) For as long as I can remember, I have been observing and responding to the stories and visuals around me; and it has only become more exciting with every person I meet and event I photograph!

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Aanna was an absolute dream for our wedding! She is truly a one woman show and spent 8 hours with us and never missed a shot. She was incredibly helpful in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to capture us beautifully in both candid and curated shots. There was excellent communication that helped our day run smoothly and stress free. We have received some teaser photographs back and are absolutely stunned with her artistic ability! 10/10 would recommend her to any couple out there for their photographer, we could not be happier!!!!!

Nikki Welsh is a Florida-based traveling wedding photographer documenting love stories with an honest, nostalgic approach. Blending digital, 35mm film, and Super 8, her work is rooted in real moments, natural light, and the in-between memories that make a wedding day unforgettable. Her style leans documentary and a little wild, capturing celebrations as they actually felt. Based in Florida and available for travel worldwide.

Nikki was my college senior picture photographer. I wanted to do 3 very different photo shoots, as well as incorporate my college friends and my dog. Nikki was able to execute my vision perfectly!!! She knew the perfect locations and captured the vibe I was going for in each session perfectly. I am very detailed oriented and she made sure to capture all the small personal details I wanted included as well. These are my favorite pictures I’ve ever had taken. She was so encouraging and made me feel extremely comfortable behind the camera. Whether you are wanting something more traditional or something completely unique, Nikki will execute it beautifully!!

Kylee Jade - Photographer
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,800
  • Serves Montrose, SD

California born, Minnesota raised, currently enjoying life in Sioux Falls, SD with my husband and a quirky turtle named Hermione. Lover of Jesus, good food, Star Wars, and books. You deserve a wedding without stress and "we have to's" - a celebration that feels comfortable, fun, & true to your personalities. I love helping couples simply feel like themselves on their wedding day; creating space for them to make memories instead of just photos.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were beyond impressed with Kylee, and if we could go back and do it all over again, she'd be my top choice for our wedding photographer! We met Kylee at a bridal show and loved her focus on catching candid moments. She delivered -- our photos feel like us because she caught so many small moments and inside jokes. Looking back at our wedding photos, it's so easy to relive the day. She didn't just "take photos" but she really told our story beautifully. Another positive for us specifically: My husband and I are both kind of awkward photo subjects, and we were nervous about our engagement photos and wedding day photos. Kylee made the process so comfortable! She fit in with our bridal party, was easy to spend time with, and at the same time, managed to keep everyone on task. Honestly, I'm kind of bummed I don't have a reason to hang out with her now Bonus benefits of working with Kylee (IMO): 1. When she asked me "what does your family look like?" vs. something about parents specifically, I was sold. I lost my dad two years before our wedding, and it was such a relief to have a photographer who didn't make immediate assumptions about us. 2. She was SO FAST. We expected to wait much longer for our wedding photos, and she had first looks the next day. The rest of our photos were back quickly, too. 3. She took the time to know us. By the time the wedding day rolled around, I didn't worry at all about her getting the shots we wanted because we'd spent the time building a relationship with her. TL;DR: 10/10 recommend Kylee Jade Photography. We were so happy with the process and the results.

Danielle Robidoux Photography
Rating: 5.0 (30 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200

Your wedding is not a performance. It's the way you look at each other when no one's watching. Your hand finding theirs without thinking. My couples care more about what’s real than what looks good on a grid. They want gorgeous photos but also want them to mean something. The couples I work with have depth. Their stories have weight. They want someone behind the lens who sees them. Not just how they look, but who they are. Presence over performance. That's the closest I can get to naming it.

Awarded Best of Zola
We can’t recommend Danielle enough! From the very beginning she went above and beyond, researching, planning, and creating an itinerary for us leading up to our elopement day. Every location she chose was absolutely breathtaking and far from the tourist crowds, which was exactly what we were hoping for. Danielle truly turned our vision into reality and captured the magic of our day in a way we’ll cherish forever. Thank you for everything!!!

She completely understood the fairytale/romantic vibe we were looking for, and also delivered wonderful candids from the reception. Also, her prices were super reasonable and she was easy to communicate/work with. I’ve shared just a couple of my favorites from the portraits, but I swear I have a new favorite every time I look at the album. Highly recommend!!

When i'm not photographing something you can find me exploring nature, hanging out at a concert or re-watching The Office (for the 100th time). I'm a lover of travel, animals, adventure, art, good food and making great memories. I've loved photography for as long as I can remember + I'm certain that capturing other people's stories + love is my passion and my calling.

Susanna Grant Photography was fantastic to work with for our wedding day. Susanna was great with communicating with us throughout the entire planning process, always responding promptly to our emails and calls. Her photography style is amazing - she has an incredible eye for capturing all the little details and special moments that made our day so unique and memorable. Susanna helped us come up with a detailed shot list ahead of time, and on the day of the wedding, she was a calming presence, making sure everything ran smoothly and supporting us every step of the way. We are thrilled with the beautiful photos she delivered, and we would highly recommend Susanna Grant Photography to any couple planning their wedding.
