“Tanya was great!! We first learned about her from a party our wedding planner threw and I knew right after that, Tanya would be the perfect person to help bring some color and pop into our wedding. The initial call with Tanya was educational. She is so knowledgeable about the flowers she works with and allowed me to look up the florals she was talking about to see if it would be something I would like. At the end of the call, she let me know that she would put a vision board together to send over for me. She let me know that might take a couple of days; it didn't. Within 24 hours she had it to me to review. That type of customer service is hard to find, but it is so appreciated! Throughout the planning process, Tanya kept in contact to see if I wanted to stick with the original plan, or change certain elements. There were times I had questions and Tanya answered them with lightening speed. As always, she was professional, knowledgeable, and educational. For our wedding, we went with bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, wine barrel arraignments, and flowers for bud vases. Tanya was not able to make it to our event, but she had her mother take her place and communicated this with us and also our wedding planner so we knew exactly what would be happening. Every arraignment was stunning and our flowers stayed alive for a week after our event so that we could continue to enjoy them. Overall, Tanya is fantastic and the florals she using are stunning. We are so happy we decided to go with her for our big day!”

“We rented flowers through Something Borrowed Blooms and went with the Jane collection. Flowers were lower on our tier of priorities, so this worked well for us. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.”

“We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie”

“We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner.
