Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. I have always enjoyed European gardens, they are magical! My inspiration was the Gardens of Versailles located in France. I wanted to create the Fairy-tail venue for our brides to walk through, with elegant formal pruned shrubs, enchanting Juliette balcony to over look the 3 acres of gardens with 250 rose bushes. Old world architecture to give it that Cinderella vibe. The ballroom is all white with 3 crystal chandeliers, a white marble floor, with walls enhanced with the Bridgerton details to give it that simple elegance. The Mansion is where the bridal party gets ready with lots of space, large bridal & Grooms suite, large kitchen, 3 bathrooms/showers, and a beautiful spiral staircase. We also have Guest accommodations available, created in a small private French Village with 6 individual chateaus decorated in the French style of elegance. The Village has a large town square fountain, swimming pool with lounging furniture, BBQ & corn hull game and butterfly garden.
