“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! From the moment we met with Doug, we were impressed by his prompt communication, experience in the industry, and great sense of humor. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the music selection process, as my husband and I were feeling overwhelmed with the small details. I knew that my pop loving self would be fine with most things but we truly just needed to make decisions. With just 3 weeks left, we only had two songs picked out, but Doug was firm yet funny in saying "How about you two use this time to knock out the songs?" He met with us a week later and went above and beyond to help us finalize our playlist. His app saved our brain and was so easy to select songs, move them into sections and add notes like parents names or details about entrances. On the day of, his talented and energetic team kept the dance floor packed and the vibes high all night long. The photobooth they provided was also an amazing addition that our guests raved about. His excitement about things like our flaming donut bar added to our excitement for the wedding and made us feel confident with every decision we made. “Don was the perfect DJ! Prior to the event, he scheduled multiple calls to meet us & understand exactly what we were looking for. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night. “Derald is truly the best DJ ever!!! I’ve heard from so many of our guests since we got married a few days ago that he was the most engaging, kind, and created the best party for our guests. Matthew was so much fun to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. You can tell he really LOVES what he does. My wife and I were picky with our music but he was patient and helped with song selections. We were stumped on a few song selections but Matthew instantly came up with ways to make our ceremony/reception the best it could be. His day-of-coordination was also super helpful, he was there to help us with whatever we needed the day of. Not only did we find the best DJ in the business, but we have made a lifelong friend. Matthew is simply the best, our day wouldn't have been complete without him!! Thank you Matthew for making our dream wedding a reality!!”
