Ne’Kea was super responsive to my questions and responded extremely quick! Ne'Kea and Katlyn were on time and professional. We had a great time with them as we all got our hair and makeup done. For my makeup and really met my preferences. I do not normally wear makeup so she went lighter on me, but still enough to come through in pictures. “Shimmer for You was great to work with! I did a trial with Jaime a few months ahead of time, and then adjusted things as needed day of. Jaime and her team did hair and makeup for me, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. Everything went smoothly, and we were done on time. My hair looked bigger than I wanted day of, and we had enough time for Jaime to adjust it so it looked exactly how I wanted. I had worried that wedding makeup and lashes would look to heavy on me since I don’t usually wear much makeup (and I saw some full glam photos on the Zola profile), but the soft look Jaime did for me was perfect- I still looked like myself, but shimmery. I was also worried about foundation and lip colors looking too orange or yellow on me since I’m very fair with cool/pink undertones, but the color match was perfect, and we tried out a few lip colors at the trial to get it perfect. The moms and bridesmaids love their hair and makeup too! I absolutely recommend Shimmer for You!”

“Cindy was absolutely lovely to work with. From our first interactions over email, she was responsive, friendly, and just really kind! I am not a big make-up person and was very concerned that traditional "wedding" make-up would transform me and make me not look like myself. These worries immediately went away after my make-up trial (included in the price). Cindy listened and understood what I envisioned and was super flexible to change things up until I was comfortable. When I showed my bridal party pictures from my trial, they all said, "that's exactly how I want to look on your wedding." They used CINDY'S work as their inspiration pics. Everyone was so pleased by their looks (we are all very minimalistic, soft glam gals) and was raving all day about how good she was!
