Christine was able to help answer any questions and made suggestions for me and my skincare routine during my trial run for the makeup. Because of her suggestions, I ended up with a healthy glow on my skin and less wrinkles so I didn't have to wear concealer at all for my wedding! I was thrilled about that since I wanted to have my freckles still show through and have a more natural look for the pictures. Even my husband, who prefers when I don't wear makeup, said I looked like me while highlighting my best features. Not only that but her skincare recommendations are something I've continued since then. Even going as far as to determine when I should wash my hair so my curls would stay in longest. My make up is as exactly what I wanted and we got there because she takes time to listen to what you want for your look. I don’t normally do a full glam look, I keep it natural in my day to day routine, but she translated that to a beautiful wedding day look. She even did touch ups for me between the ceremony and the reception. We got married in the summer and I was very hot and sweaty at the peak of the heat and she was even able to refresh my hair after it fell out from my sweat. When looking for hair and makeup vendors, it was incredibly important to me to find a team that specializes in natural-looking hair and makeup and uses clean, quality products. Earthtones hit the nail on the head, and I think they're the best hidden gem we found when booking wedding vendors. They accommodated two brides who needed hair and makeup and were understanding that we wanted two very different styles (one of us with an updo and one with a simple blowout). For our trial, I wanted to make sure I saw all of my options, so they let me try three different styles, which was above and beyond what I expected. EvaMarie and Olivia even accommodated adding a hair service the night of our rehearsal dinner at the last minute! On our wedding morning, Cori, our makeup artist, was truly the most calming and grounded presence in the room. She listened to both brides and our families about what we wanted and didn't want, and made as many tweaks as needed until we got our makeup just right. “I recently got married in Philadelphia. I found Bella Angel through The Knot when looking for hair and makeup. I live in NJ so their locations in both Cherry Hill and Philadelphia were very convenient. I had a trial about 3 months prior to my wedding with Michele and it went great. The makeup was perfect and I kept it the same for my wedding day. I ended up deciding pretty last minute to change my hair up and showed her a new picture on my actual wedding day and she did amazing. Ten of us got our hair and makeup done - me, my mom and mother-in-law, my 6 bridesmaids, and my sister-in-law. Everyone could not have been happier with their hair and makeup.
