The studio houses a large main hall, two bar areas, a loft and two photography/video studio spaces. Most renters mix and match depending on the needs of their events. Hi! M’Kensie here, the younger counterpart of this mother-daughter duo and also just so happen to be much of the story behind how the barn came to be. I was in my final year of college and planning a wedding for the Summer of 2012. I was so very blessed to grow up on our family farm, with a dad who loves to build things and who wanted to make all my Pinterest dreams come true. So as wedding planning began, construction started going up, and PLOT TWIST, the groom and I broke up…..that’s when our family realized God had much bigger plans for the barn. So with a little more time to dream, and much more time for construction, Lone Oak Barn was born. My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Every couple, every family, every vendor, non-profit, and company we’ve hosted has become part of the Lone Oak Family. Our hope is that you’ll come on in, stay awhile, and most importantly, come back and see us.

Located on 52 acres of pristine farmland right outside of the New Braunfels city limits, The Allen Farmhaus provides a unique venue with unobstructed views for miles as far as the eye can see. Stainless steel prep tables, a large double door refrigerator and separate freezer are available for the caterer to utilize. Located in the reception barn, the space is centrally located so the caterers have easy access to all areas of the property during the event.

The Old Mill Weddings & Events Center features architectural treasures such as light grained cathedral wood ceilings and beams, beautiful stained concrete floor, elegant wrought iron staircase, a splendid rustic centerpiece chandelier and of course the Old Mill Wheel, reminiscent of the origins of Gruene Texas. Our 12,000 sq ft facility can host weddings of varying sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger groups up to 350. We have a wedding venue located on our 100-acre property in a 150 year old pecan grove overlooking the San Marcos River. With its two-story vaulted ceilings and gracious 10,000 square feet climate controlled interior, Hill Country Bliss Wedding and Event Venue can accommodate 300 guests for dining and entertaining. The 3,000 square feet open air chapel can accommodate 300 guests. This chapel is finished in a modern style with ivory wood walls and ceilings with a breath-taking view of the Texas Hill Country.
