Style Points DJs

Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)

“DJ Style Points was incredible to work with and played a huge role in making our wedding night a massive success. Our guest list spanned multiple generations, so we really needed someone who knew how to read the room and keep everyone engaged. Matt understood this perfectly—he had the dance floor packed all night and blended the music seamlessly. Any concerns we had regarding song lengths or flow, he was already ahead of it. He uses a custom planning form that was incredibly thorough, which made it so easy for us to help structure our timeline and music preferences. It also didn't go unnoticed by our other vendors; they were all very complimentary of how well he managed the energy throughout the night. If you want a DJ who is organized, professional, and a true master at keeping the party going, look no further!”

Hi! My name is Matt and I am the owner and head DJ of Style Points DJs. I began DJing in 2016 with my friend Jerry after discovering a mutual love for electronic dance music from the likes of Zedd, Martin Garrix, and Hardwell. I've found an overwhelming passion in DJing and event coordinating, so much so that I've worked tirelessly to do it full-time since 2021. I believe that the DJ is the cornerstone of wedding vendors and I do everything in my power to make sure that I can make the vision of your wedding into a reality.

“Where do I even begin?? DJ Dan has been there for us and tirelessly helped us figure out the music, the flow, and the timeline. And everything went as planned and more! Dan is extremely dedicated to his work and clients, he cares so much, making this whole experience much more productive and wonderful. His team also executed so well that we had so much fun and never had to worry once. Dan made himself available whenever we had questions and I appreciated him offering moral support & guiding us through the stressful planning process. He’s a warm presence, a gem, a professional! Please don’t hesitate to hire him, he guarantees a great time! You won’t regret any bit of it!!”

After 14 plus years DJing weddings across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, I know the fear is not just bad music. It is awkward MC moments, dead air, generic playlists, and a dance floor that never connects. My style combines real wedding experience with NYC nightlife instincts: live mixing, clean announcements, calm planning, and room reading that keeps every generation included without making the night feel forced.

““Your wedding band was amazing,” was what I heard the most from my guests after they remised about the night, and everyone is right, The Last Nites are amazing. Waylan and team put on a show and made my wedding night unforgettable. Music was huge for me so when I went to hire a wedding band, I went to a lot of shows before booking. The Last Nites was by far the best band I went to see. From their song selection, to the way they work the stage, if you’re not dancing it’s because you’re sitting and you’re most likely still bopping your head. We hired TLN for the entirety of the wedding: Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All of it was perfect. For the song selections, we were able to choose a good amount of songs that we liked from their wide array of songs, and then TLNs put together a set list based on our tastes, which, they nailed. They learned our first dance, a father-daughter dance, and also a ceremony procession song, all of which were perfect. I’ve always wanted to walk to a song from my favorite video game and although it seemed really hard and somewhat impossible, Waylan made sure it happened. I still get emotional thinking about the rendition I was lucky enough to walk to, it really made my wedding day that more special. Everything about working with The Last Nites was perfect, and they made my wedding that much more amazing; it felt like I wasn’t at a wedding, but a show where everyone was on the floor dancing. The team showed up on time, set up, and looked amazing. Everything was super professional and on point. I can’t recommend The Last Nites enough, and anyone who attended my wedding, or I bet even sees them perform, would say the same.”

That's why when you invite us to your celebration, you will not have to worry about not getting the band you hired. The Last Nites are a real band made up of amazing musicians who love to play music for music's sake.

Dj Double E

Rating: 5.0 (64 reviews)

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“From our initial conversation, Jesse made my husband and I feel completely at ease. We came in with a lot of questions (and, admittedly, a fair amount of overthinking) around song choices and overall vibe, and he met every single one with patience, understanding, and great recommendations. On our wedding day, Jesse and his ensemble were nothing short of incredible. The live music didn’t just fill the space, but set the tone. It elevated the entire atmosphere of our wedding in a way that felt deeply personal, warm, and elegant—perfectly calibrated to who we are and what we wanted the day to feel like! Beyond the artistry, the level of professionalism was unmatched. Completely dialed in, Skylark made everything feel effortless (which, as a couple getting married, is a true gift). We honestly can’t imagine our wedding day without them. Their music made the day what it was. If you’re considering working with them, do not hesitate. It will be one of the best decisions you make!”

One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

Valentino Entertainment, LLC

Rating: 5.0 (46 reviews)

“From our first interaction with Valentino Entertainment, LLC, we were impressed by their thorough, relaxed, and reassuring communication style. Paul and his team provided a truly professional experience, with top-notch equipment and amazing value for the services they delivered. They worked tirelessly as our hard-working entertainers, genuinely caring about making our special day a blast. The reception environment was such an active party - at one point, I went back to the head table to get water and no one was sitting, as people were fully dancing or enjoying the music from the sidelines. Even when we had to make some last-minute changes to the day's details, Paul was able to roll with it seamlessly, even practicing our long last name until he got it right. The remainder of the reception was an absolute blast, with people dancing through the entire end of the night. It was truly the best day and party we could have had, and we would hire Valentino Entertainment, LLC again in a heartbeat. The photobooth was also a great value-add.”

DJ Ore Santana

Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)

“Booking DJ Ore was one of the best calls we made for our wedding. From our first phone call to the last song at 1am, he was on top of everything — quick to respond, organized, and genuinely invested in getting our day right. We got married at a camp in the Catskills with the ceremony out in the woods, which meant some tricky logistics: separate sound for the ceremony in the trees, load-in with the venue staff, a timeline that kept shifting on him. Ore handled all of it and we never had to think about any of it. The music was unreal, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests basically refused to leave it, and we honestly lost count of how many people came up to us throughout the night to say how good the music and the DJ were. The thing I'll always remember, though, is how he made space for my Tío to play. My Tío sang and played guitar, and Ore made sure he had everything he needed to do it right. He and Chris brought so much energy and just knew how to keep the room going. If you want a DJ who's professional, easy to talk to, and cares about your day, book him. Thank you for everything, Ore — you gave us a night we won't forget. Cannot recommend enough.”

“MC Fish Entertainment made our wedding reception feel like a real party from start to finish. From our first conversation, Dave was quick to respond to questions and willing to work around our needs, asking the right questions to understand what we wanted - and answering questions we didn’t know we had! He coordinated with our officiant and other vendors without us having to ask, which took so much stress off our plate. Based on just a few song selections we shared, he nailed our vibe and kept the energy high all night long. Every transition between dinner, toasts, and dancing felt smooth. We can't thank him enough! We got so many comments from guests on how great he was.”

“We got married in November at the Silver Bay YMCA, and we cannot recommend Scott and his team enough. We knew we wanted a live band for part of our wedding and they were the best band we could have chosen. Our first meeting with Scott we could tell he understood our wedding day vision right away and was willing to work with us on learning new music to fulfill our nerdy requests. For example the team learned acoustic versions of 90's alternative songs, and the groomsmen and bridal party walked down the aisle to Legend of Zelda, my wife walked down the aisle to Nightmare before Christmas, and then we recessed to Studio Ghibli. Cocktail hr, all our guests commented how amazing the band was and how they enjoyed the live music. If you want something different for your wedding, we were thoroughly impressed at the musical abilities and made our music dreams come true. Thank you to this very special team!”

“Music Masters are professional, organized, and a ton of fun! Terry is a pint-sized bottle of energy who gets people young and old dancing with her light-up shoes, crowd surfing, and dance moves! People were coming up to me during and after the wedding saying how much they loved Terry and wanting her for their wedding/wish they had her for theirs. Our DJ Lou was also great to work with, we had an idea for a 90’s/2000’s hour and gave a few songs we wanted and they came through with the most amazing playlist for the last hour of our wedding. Most songs we requested were played, he did not play a single song off our “do not play” list and he did an excellent job mixing songs from different eras. They called us the week of the wedding to go through the whole night and on the night-of our wedding Terry came and found us for any type of event or question. Also if you haven’t heard of Zap photography, look into it! They take pictures throughout the reception, specifically dancing photos (see photos below) and blow them up on two big screens during the wedding – it was another big hit/not seen at a ton of wedding. Plus you get the photos within days of the wedding. 5/5 stars for Music Masters!”

Even before the wedding, he made himself available for every question and never made me feel crazy or annoying about all the things I was asking about. We highly recommend E Rock Entertainment LLC to anyone looking for professional, fun, high energy entertainment for their big day!”
