The Carolina Manor House is a historic Queen Anne-style estate built in 1902 as the home of Dr. J.H. Harris, a beloved local physician who treated patients and delivered babies right here in Franklinton. The three-story mansion and surrounding ten acres of grounds have been carefully restored to blend timeless character with modern comfort. Today the Manor serves as a versatile wedding and event venue with multiple spaces that adapt to your vision. Cooper's Landing Inn is located in the heart of Lake Country and is a part of Virginia's only lakeside town. Originally built in 1830, the main Inn is surrounded by beautiful grounds which include original outbuildings and our private cottages. While visiting, guests can enjoy the 1833 smokehouse which houses the hot tub, our wedding gazebo, the in-ground pool, sandbox for children, and patios and decks for special celebrations and events. Cooper’s Landing is truly a four-season destination. In the summer months, the in-ground pool provides guests with a cool retreat.
