“We cannot express enough gratitude to The Faded Poppy for the breathtaking floral arrangements they created for our wedding bouquets! From our very first consultation, The Faded Poppy was an absolute pleasure to work with. They listened intently to our vision, adjusted as we worked through the vision, offered excellent suggestions, and truly understood the aesthetic we were hoping to achieve. They even kindly helped us work through last minute freak outs, haha. The communication throughout the entire process was professional and reassuring. On the wedding day, when the bouquets arrived and filled the space, they were stunning and added that pop of color we were looking for. They were even more breathtaking than we could have imagined - fresh, vibrant, and perfectly arranged, capturing the essence of our day with such elegance. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the quality of the flowers was exceptional. The Faded Poppy played such a significant role in making our wedding day feel magical and beautiful. We received countless compliments on the flowers, and they looked absolutely incredible in al our photos. We wholeheartedly recommend The Faded Poppy to any couple looking for a truly talented and professional florist who will bring their floral dreams to life for the big day! Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (106 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Finding a florist was so overwhelming and "minimum investments" were crazy! I decided to go with Poppy Flowers because the pricing was actually reasonable and there wasn't a minimum investment of like 5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)”

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our florist, Jessica Samsing of Fleurish and Bloom. From the very beginning, we loved that we were able to meet her and really get to know her before booking. It never felt like a transaction for a service, and more like collaborating with a friend to bring a dream vision to life. I can be pretty particular when it comes to details, so finding someone we trusted completely to execute our vision was really important to us. She absolutely nailed it. She listened carefully, offered thoughtful guidance, and ultimately brought our dream to life in the most beautiful way. Not only was everything stunning, but she and her team were also incredibly respectful of our budget, which we appreciated so much. Throughout the process she was approachable, kind, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day special. You can truly feel how much she cares about her couples. If you’re looking for a florist who is talented, thoughtful, and a joy to work with, we cannot recommend her enough. • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”

I have a love for all things wild and natural, scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago as a young girl, working alongside my mother picking wildflowers and lily of the valley. How I create is deeply rooted in who I am; a floral designer, grower, and potter. I feel my art background has been a really strong foundation for floral design as textures, color, and design are all intertwined with both arts.
