“Cheryl was incredible to work with! From the start of the planning process to my wedding day, Cheryl was quick to respond, easy to talk to, and helped me with the perfect wedding look! Right after my trial with her, I had a small reaction to one of the products she used, and when I let her know she took note of it to make sure she didn't use it on my wedding day. Her attention to detail was impeccable— she noted all the products she used during the trial so my look was just as I wanted it on my wedding day, and then adjusted when I changed my mind about the eyeshadow look I wanted to go for. On the day of the wedding, she texted me throughout the morning on her ETA to the venue and the ETA of the other artists for my bridesmaids. I really appreciated how she left eyelash glue for me, just in case, and gave my bridesmaids makeup sponges for me to dab my eyes if I cried during the ceremony. She was SO much fun to work with and even filmed a TikTok for me and my bridesmaids. Cheryl was also so willing to stay until after the ceremony when I chaotically floated the idea of a mid-reception hair chop while she was doing my hair— I ultimately didn’t do a hair chop, but I am so appreciative that she was down for my antics. “I came to your team 6 weeks out from my wedding after a bad experience at a previous hair and makeup trial with another vendor, feeling very sensitive and nervous about how hair and makeup with another team would go. After a perfect trial with Heather and Suzy, I was so relieved and confident about working with them on my wedding day. After the trial, I made a last minute change on my hairstyle for the wedding by deciding I wanted a flower crown, and took a leap of faith in hoping that Suzy would be able to help put it on me during a very tight window as a surprise for the ceremony. I mean it to my core when I say that I could not be more elated about how it all turned out. Suzy absolutely crushed it. Heather completely understood what I was asking for and flawlessly executed it. They both listened to my requests and feedback without judgement and did an amazing job. I also really appreciated that they both heard me when I let them know I was introverted and probably would want to use my hair and makeup time as a social battery recharge opportunity rather than engaging. I really felt like they respected this and did not take it personally, and I never had to remind them of it. “I loved working with Swept for my hair and makeup! Jamie was easy to work with and answered all my questions. Anna and Shannen were both very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional and gave me and my bridesmaids beautiful hair and makeup that lasted through the night. Anna did beautiful work with my hair. I went into the trial a bit indecisive about what I wanted to do with my hair, and she was very helpful and also more than willing to make a game-day decision if needed. It was very important to me to highlight my natural curls, and she did a stunning updo that kept my hair in place, but still let my curls shine. She did beautiful hairstyles for my bridesmaids and my mom as well, and all of our hairstyles stayed perfectly in place and held up to an outdoor wedding and full night of dancing. Shannen is an amazing makeup artist! I absolutely loved my makeup look. I don’t wear makeup in my day-to-day life, so she was able to offer her expertise to create a bridal look that still felt like myself. I loved how light and natural my makeup looked, and she was totally open to making tweaks to make sure it felt perfect. She did an excellent job on the makeup for my bridesmaids as well, and even volunteered to take a few pictures of us before leaving. “Rita and her team did a great job with the hair and makeup for my wedding in November 2024. She was very responsive during the booking process, everything was very clear and seamless. The trial went well and she made sure that I liked how everything looked. Everything on the day of the wedding looked as expected based on the trial. I hardly ever wear makeup and asked for a more natural look and it turned out perfect! I also have fine hair and was worried about having volume, but Rita was able to make my hair look thicker than it is. Both the hair and makeup lasted all night and still looked good after being done around 12pm. We had 6 people getting services and everything was done on time by Rita and her assistant, she provided a schedule so that I was able to let people know when they could arrive. “I had an amazing experience with The Stylist Abroad! Ashley, the owner, was absolutely fantastic and was incredibly communicative for the entire process. She answered every single question right away, and gave so much insight! For the trial and on the day of my wedding, my girls and I worked with Kim (hair) and Jenna (makeup), and they were both amazing. So kind, so friendly, and clearly knowledgeable!
