“I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!”

Day of coordination was perfect for us since we already had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted the decor to be and look like, we just needed someone to implement it day of and Alexis and her team did just that! They do not offer previews for the flowers if you’re doing floral but trust that they are experienced, my flowers and bouquet were absolutely beautiful and just in line with my colors! Alexis and I weren’t communicating on a weekly basis which makes sense since I hired her for just day of, but we did chat just enough to get a good grasp of what needed to be done. She met with me for the first time three months out and then a second time like 2 weeks before the day. Alexis was very patient and kind throughout the day especially when we had to make last minute changes but everything still worked out great and our wedding day was perfect. We are a family business, everything started 2019. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and I enjoy the process of planning events, decorations, scheduling, and timelines. I worked in the hotel business for almost 10 years until I realized that I wanted to start working in what I love and I'm passionate about. That's how I decided to open my own company!
