My love of designs has always been in my heart. After graduating at the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!!), I've had many opportunities to create wonderful floral designs and arrangements for friends, family & many many brides, among others. Before long, my passion and love for design & hospitality lead me to launched Beyond Floral officially in 2007. While floral design is my first love, event planning & coordination came organically through the encouragement & inspiration from our past clients. It is my biggest heartfelt joy seeing my client beam in excitement when they see everything comes together on their BIG Day!

We specialize in Weddings and Events, offering a comfortable studio setting to meet with clients and discuss their specific needs. Our entire inventory of Décor and Props are on display in house, making it easy for potential couples to see what will be used for their special day. We offer full mock ups of wedding centerpieces to couples who choose this service. We make ourselves available for travel destination wedding when requested by clients.

From the start I was passionate about my work and continue to be. Throughout the years I’ve developed skills in specializing in weddings and events. Since 2009 I have been exclusively creating all the designs for For Better For Less Wedding Flowers. Working with Irene Baxter, my predecessor, was rewarding and a pleasure. Continuing to offer our brides/clients top notch service and design is my number one priority. Hi! I'm Michelle, a Tampa-based floral designer for weddings and events. From a very young age, I have always been interested in every possible craft/art you can name. Crocheting, baking, painting, drawing, singing, photography… etc. I have always been a hands-on person, and love creating things with my hands.

With over 8 years of experience in the wedding industry, our knowledge of Wedding Planning, floral design and event management will bring order to the chaos that can sometimes enter. We'll introduce real budget conscious options and keep a calm eye on the process to ensure deadlines are met and your dreams for your day are realized. We'll work with you on floral and design plans - bringing your vision to life while you enjoy this short-lived season of engagement. The wedding is the grandest kick off to your love story. Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers.
