Working with Something Borrowed Blooms was a breeze from start to finish. It was so easy to bring my vision to life. The flowers they delivered were stunning and vibrant, with a level of quality that honestly exceeded what I was expecting. I did notice a few blooms had some dirt and crumbs on them when they arrived, so I had to do a quick clean with a steamer, but it was a minor fix. They were a bit spendier than I would have thought, but overall their work was beautiful and realistic and they nailed exactly what we were going for. I'd definitely recommend them to other couples looking for an easy and resourceful floral opportunity.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Litchfield, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Everything about my experience with Flower Moxie has been tops! Alexa was a tremendous help when part of my order didn't arrive with the rest of it. She quickly resolved the problem! Thank you Alexa!

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and fit my vision exactly! All of the flowers and decor complemented the venue perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. Kate was great to work with, from the initial communication and planning to making several adjustments to our plan over time to sending a preview of the bouquet. We were also able to visit her studio in person and rent candles which was a huge help. Overall working with Kate was so easy and stress free and she really has a knack for bringing a vision to life! Thank you!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Litchfield, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

Emma at First Blush Floral & Planning was an absolute treasure to work with, and we couldn't recommend her more. As a wedding couple who had to pivot unexpectedly from original vendor and venue plans, the minute I got on a call with Emma, I knew she would be perfect in helping our vision come to life. Cool, calm, collected, organized and knowledgeable, she listened to what we wanted and made it come to life. We felt so reassured that we also added Fist Blush's planning services on to our floral package. It was such peace of mind in those final weeks (and the big day) to know she was behind the scenes of it all. Forever grateful! The pouring rain and day-of chaos stood no chance.

We had such an awesome experience Rachel and the Flowerworks team for our wedding on 5/10/25. From the start, Rachel was very easy to work with and helped me articulate my vision to come up with the perfect floral design. Everything was executed perfectly from the gorgeous ceremony arch to the unique bridal bouquets I asked for. Rachel even went out of her way to order the exact bud vases I sent her from an inspiration photo to make sure that my table centerpieces were everything I envisioned. First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

Willow & Grey
Rating: 5.0 (18 reviews)
  • Serves Litchfield, CT

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

From our very first conversation, Renee — the incredible talent behind Willow and Grey — made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to truly understand my vision for the day, and somehow transformed every idea and inspiration into something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Every floral detail was pure magic. From my bouquet to the elegant reception arrangements, Renee’s work was thoughtful, artful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The way she layered textures, played with different flowers, and created such natural, romantic movement in every piece left us — and our guests — absolutely in awe. Beyond her creativity and skill, Renee is just a joy to work with. She’s warm, professional, and deeply passionate about what she does. You can feel her heart in every arrangement. She made the entire process feel effortless and exciting, and I felt so cared for every step of the way. If you’re looking for someone who will bring genuine artistry, soul, and care to your wedding day, Willow and Grey is the one. Renee, thank you for filling our day with so much beauty — it was truly unforgettable. With all my love and gratitude, Kameron

Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!

Emily and her team transformed our harsh, industrial wedding venue into the most romantic, dreamy space I've ever seen. She suspended fabric, built an incredible floral installation, hung vines, and created the most beautiful centerpieces, bud vases, and bouquets. Her eye for design and artistry is incredible, her flowers are stunning, her hardware is beautiful, and she is so kind, communicative, and easy to work with. I got a few other quotes before I went with Emily -- not only did her flowers end up looking far better than those vendors' flowers (based on pictures I'd seen), but her prices were better, too!

The selection of flowers was vibrant and perfectly matched our color scheme, featuring a beautiful blend of reds, whites, and blues that added a festive touch to the celebration. Each arrangement was meticulously crafted, showcasing not only the flowers but also thoughtful accents like greenery and seasonal blooms that enhanced the overall aesthetic. The centerpieces were show-stoppers, elegantly designed to suit the tables while allowing for easy conversation among guests. Amy's attention to detail was evident in every bouquet, corsage, and floral installation, making the entire venue feel magical. Beyond their artistry, the team was incredibly professional, timely, and adaptable, ensuring everything was set up flawlessly before the ceremony. Many guests complimented the flowers throughout the day, and they truly added to the joyful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy and her team for any event—they exceeded all expectations and made my wedding day even more special!
