He spent years mastering his craft, working sous chef and head chef positions at some of the Lehigh Valley's top restaurants!

“When we first started planning our wedding, the only thing we knew for sure was that we wanted food everyone would talk about. Another priority was having vegetarian options that went beyond just pasta or cauliflower steaks. Chef Angelo, and the whole team at Modern Fusion, completely blew our expectations away. From the moment we first reached out, he was responsive, collaborative, and patient in answering all the questions we threw at him. When it came time to plan our menu, he worked with us to adjust their dishes to suit our (somewhat picky) tastes. “Can this be made vegetarian?” “Can you make sure there are no nuts in anything?” “Can this dish be made a little less spicy?” Whatever we needed, Angelo assured us they could make it happen. We also threw out an idea that more or less combined two dishes. He was not only eager to accommodate our request, he seemed just as excited at the idea of the dish as we were. These early interactions went a long way in putting us at ease throughout the planning process. Then we had our tasting. Every single thing we had was so good that we were worried we were going to be disappointed come the wedding day. We thought, “There’s no way they’re going to be able to make everything *that* good for 100 people!” We were so very, very wrong. Did the first guest we saw at cocktail hour say, “Congratulations!” or “Let’s take a picture?” No, I’m pretty sure they said “This food is so good, I’m already on my third empanada.” Which was exactly what we wanted to hear. And we continued to hear comments like that all night long. From the moment we reached out straight through to the end of the reception, Chef Angelo and his staff went above and beyond in every way imaginable. The day could not have gone better and we owe so much of that to them. Now I’m just trying to think up other occasions we could have catered so I can eat more of their incredible food.”

“Upohar was recommended to us because we knew we wanted a caterer that could pull in lots of flavor for our guests coming in from all over the US as well as Mexico and Puerto Rico. Not only did they nail a jam packed menu request but also went ABOVE and BEYOND to get the table settings just right AND pull in little extras that were most important to the Bride and Groom's personal tastes - who doesn't love pan dulce (mexican sweet breads)?! Sri, the owner, was so thoughtful in preparing and sharing a tasting menu that gave us a sense for ALL that could be done by her team and Stephanie, director of operations, was meticulous and methodical in her ongoing support and encouragement to support us throughout our planning. The final ingredient to the spectacular interaction provided was Stephanie finding me, the bride, a Day of Coordinator, for a small added cost, that was an exact match for my personality and had a lock on the desired wedding theme - Spanish/Boho/Romantic. Overall, the menu the look and the experience of working with Upohar was a "gift" - which fits given it means they lived up to their namesake! We cannot wait to find more reasons to work with or recommend Upohar to friends and family...and maybe troll their events for more of their OUT OF THIS WORLD pernil and coconut rice!”

We had our wedding at a rustic barn venue that did not have a kitchen, but Tasha was able to put together the perfect buffet setup that worked for us. She was very mindful of our budget, and was very helpful throughout the entire process. “The whole team at Bissou made our wedding amazing! Their coordinators- Esther & Ty made me feel so taken care of the entire night of our wedding and the week leading up. We had them handle the coordination, florals, cake, bartending, and full catering, and the whole experience was fantastic! We had a wedding of around 80 guests, and there was plenty of food, and it was delicious. The cake was wonderful, and the platter they made for our cocktail hour was custom Greek and sooo good! The only thing is that Chef T sometimes can be hard to reach, so I would definitely work with Esther as his main point of contact/coordinator. However, he is so lovely and sweet, and his food is fabulous!”
