Hey! I'm Katie- lover of cats, all things spooky, and unable to burp. (Yeah, you read that right, carry on.) ​When I was younger, my dad used to follow me around with an old camcorder (you know, one of those big ones with the VHS tapes in it) and narrate my little life. It’s so much fun to hook the camera up to the TV now and watch all those clips again. I’ve seen them so many times I can quote some of the things little me is saying in the videos.

I love being outside, running with friends, spoiling my dog, crying at rom coms and cooking dinner with my boyfriend. I may or may not be a coffee snob 🫣 But most importantly to you - I LOVE photographing couples in love, and I'm an expert at helping couples feel like themselves in front of the camera during some of the most special & important days of their lives.

I'm a photographer, mom, wife, snowboarder, roller coaster enthusiast, former math teacher, and former mechanical engineer. I love learning, which eventually led me to earn my Ph.D. (but please don't call me Dr. Kizuka!). I'm fueled by chai tea, rarely seen without a beanie or headband, and known to make questionable facial expressions while concentrating behind the camera. Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. Teaching has taught me two things: patience and how to laugh at myself.
