our founder and chief designer annie armstrong was born and raised in sunny los angeles. with a background in visual merchandising and window display, she spent years traveling the country designing store fronts. when she discovered the magic of floral design and founded best day ever, she set out to create installations with the same innovative and experiential approach. there is nothing she loves more than creative clients who want to design something that’s never been done before. in the rare moments when annie is not surrounded by flowers, her favorite place to be is anywhere near or in the ocean.

My business started with decoration my own wedding 5 years ago. Since then I decorated numerous event both in US and Europe. I'm focused on creating modern natural arrangements using a sustainable approach. We are completely foam free, use as many local flowers as possible and constantly looking for more sustainable practices we can bring into our business.

In my floral industry background, my favorite times have always been working with my wedding clients. While I also enjoy creating beautiful gift arrangements, I have always loved bringing together someone's big day and aligning it with their vision. I loved it so much that I decided to build my own event-focused company. I moved to Arizona from Indiana in 2019 after arranging my own wedding florals and falling in love with the craft. I've always had a creative mind and fascination with nature, and floral design perfectly married the two together.
