“We could not speak more highly of Luvdup DJs! Gemma and her team were amazing throughout the entire process. We needed DJs for three events throughout our wedding festivities. The vibes and music/genres were very unique for each event, but Gemma and the DJs we had for each event knocked it out of the park, far exceeding our expectations (shoutout to Ty, Kelton, and Kevin!). We appreciated how much care and thought was given during the discovery and planning part of the process. Gemma and the DJs took the time to understand our vision and fill in their expertise to whatever degree we wanted, without ever being pushy. This was important to us because for certain events we had a clear and specific vision (pretty much “play this playlist”) and for others we only had a high-level vision of the music/genres. We have to give a special nod to DJ Ty, who was the DJ through the main wedding reception (first dances, speeches, dance party): Ty went above and beyond in all ways. Beyond a superhuman sense of music and DJ’ing, he was humble, helpful, and keenly aware. He anticipated and proactively helped multiple members of the wedding party throughout the evening, and always focused on making it our best day, never drawing unnecessary attention to himself. Ty, if you’re reading this, you’re awesome. But seriously, everybody was amazing. Gemma, Ty, Kelton, and Kevin, thank you for everything! 10 stars.”

Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. “Jesse was amazing at our wedding and we cannot recommend his service more. He was incredibly professional and responsive over email, and respected our music requests. When the wedding day came around, he kept our guests entertained during cocktail hour and transitioned seamlessly to our dinner service. Further, when he discovered there was an antique piano in our venue (which we didn't mention to him since the venue told us it wasn't tuned or working), he asked permission to get it running and used it instead of his keyboard. This made for even better ambiance and photos and we were very impressed at how quickly he adapted. “Booking DJ Ore was one of the best calls we made for our wedding. From our first phone call to the last song at 1am, he was on top of everything — quick to respond, organized, and genuinely invested in getting our day right. We got married at a camp in the Catskills with the ceremony out in the woods, which meant some tricky logistics: separate sound for the ceremony in the trees, load-in with the venue staff, a timeline that kept shifting on him. Ore handled all of it and we never had to think about any of it. The music was unreal, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests basically refused to leave it, and we honestly lost count of how many people came up to us throughout the night to say how good the music and the DJ were. The thing I'll always remember, though, is how he made space for my Tío to play. My Tío sang and played guitar, and Ore made sure he had everything he needed to do it right. He and Chris brought so much energy and just knew how to keep the room going. If you want a DJ who's professional, easy to talk to, and cares about your day, book him. Thank you for everything, Ore — you gave us a night we won't forget. Cannot recommend enough.”

“The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! “Music Masters are professional, organized, and a ton of fun! Terry is a pint-sized bottle of energy who gets people young and old dancing with her light-up shoes, crowd surfing, and dance moves! People were coming up to me during and after the wedding saying how much they loved Terry and wanting her for their wedding/wish they had her for theirs. Our DJ Lou was also great to work with, we had an idea for a 90’s/2000’s hour and gave a few songs we wanted and they came through with the most amazing playlist for the last hour of our wedding. Most songs we requested were played, he did not play a single song off our “do not play” list and he did an excellent job mixing songs from different eras. They called us the week of the wedding to go through the whole night and on the night-of our wedding Terry came and found us for any type of event or question. Also if you haven’t heard of Zap photography, look into it!
