Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Linking all three rooms allows for a large dance floor and gives 500 guests ample room to mix and mingle.

Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. Wedding events can take place at the following St. Joseph County Parks: St. Patrick's County Park, Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park, and Bendix Woods County Park Red Barn Package: St. Patrick's Farm is a historic barn built in 1925. Before becoming an event space, this barn was a dairy barn on St. Patrick’s Farm. The inside has been renovated, but the original barn doors, windows, and silos remain. The Pfeil Pavilion – a large, open-air shelter behind the Red Barn, is included. This space is perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or even outdoor games. The Goodhew Gazebo is just a few steps away and is a popular spot to exchange vows. Other popular venues at St. Patrick's County Park include the Fragomeni Shelter, Covered Bridge/Grape Arbor, and/or the Manion Cabin. The Glenn Bauer Shelter and the STUDEBAKER trees at Bendix Woods County Park are popular for wedding ceremonies. Baugo Station at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park is also a great option.

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture.
