“If you are looking for the best dj in the area look no further!! From our initial booking to finally meeting in person, it was all the most amazing experience. He was a super helpful online DJ platform which helps you put in your timeline, music preferences and more! It really takes the weight off the couple and makes the music aspect a breeze! And he also offers a great military discount which was so nice to find out. He provided all the necessary microphones, speakers and even some super fun lighting!! I was able to even send him custom Spotify playlists for each moment of our night and he was able to upload them to his system and use them all night. We had a lot of little requests here and there but he was on top of everything and we are so beyond happy with our experience. Our guests loved his dj style and had a great time on the dance floor. “My wife and I were so fortunate to have picked DJ Torpedo & Co. for our May 2024 wedding in Georgetown. I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. We ended up going to DJ Addison, who at the time was considered a "first-year DJ." He exceeded all expectations. Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos. DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists. “Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. Starting with our planning call it was clear we were in great hands with Kelton, who helped us figure out the finer details of our plan, and made a couple of recommendations that helped us make the day even better. On the day he showed up early to make sure things were set up properly (something our venue and planner were particularly appreciative of), ran the mics for the ceremony which went off without a hitch (except for the obligatory sirens during our vows), and played amazing music all night long. We had assembled hours and hours of playlists — it felt like Kelton intuited all of the important songs and played them at the right time — everything was flawless. Most importantly, it felt like Kelton loved being a part of our day — chatting with us and the other guests and vendors, taking photos and videos. He kept the good vibes going all night. He instantly understood the vibe we wanted from our meeting before hand and the app they provide was so convenient to add everything we wanted in. He even added in new Taylor Swift songs into the night when the album only came out the day before. And he surprised us with a remix of a song with Taylor Swift and my husbands band. Also the live musician Jason helped make our ceremony and cocktail hour so special. And Kory and team videographed the entire thing and made sure not to miss a beat!”
