I love being outside, running with friends, spoiling my dog, crying at rom coms and cooking dinner with my boyfriend. I'm a photographer, mom, wife, snowboarder, roller coaster enthusiast, former math teacher, and former mechanical engineer. I love learning, which eventually led me to earn my Ph.D. (but please don't call me Dr. Kizuka!). I'm fueled by chai tea, rarely seen without a beanie or headband, and known to make questionable facial expressions while concentrating behind the camera. Most days you'll find me climbing, crouching, or occasionally standing in a creek to capture the perfect shot - though I do clean up nicely for wedding days!

Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. Teaching has taught me two things: patience and how to laugh at myself.
