“Based on previous reviews of weddings at the Colony, we lowered our expectations for wedding day but stuck with the venue as it is stunning, large enough for all of our guests, and in our preferred location of Kennebunkport. Our wedding exceeded expectations and was PERFECT, other than the cloudy day.
Nicole is the best! Since we started planning over a year ago, there have been three different wedding coordinators at the Colony and we are SO grateful that Nicole was the one with us in the final months and on our day. She really executed every little detail of our day to make it perfect. Nicole provided such great insight and recommendations, a testament to her years of experience. The Colony is lucky to have her!
Of course we could not have had such an amazing wedding weekend without the wonderful staff at the Colony. We are seriously blown away by all of the hotel staff and the staff on the day of, they were extremely prompt, professional, and helpful to make our vision come alive and stick to our requested timeline. The chef and kitchen staff were able to serve 190 entrees in 20 minutes, incredible! The food was also delicious, we received several compliments about the appetizers, entrees, late night food, and morning after breakfast.
Most of our guests stayed at the Colony and found the rooms lovely and comfortable. The new Coveside rooms provided a great option for guests seeking more modern accommodations.”
