Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Anna spent nearly two decades training as a classical ballerina and photographing dance, often sneaking cameras backstage to shoot from the wings while still in costume. She was hooked on wedding photography instantly - the mosaic of emotion and energy that cascades across a wedding day felt like a natural extension of the magic she chased on stage as a dancer. I served twenty years in the Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and performed a year of National service with Americorps. Upon retirement, I returned to school using my GI bill to study my lifelong hobby and passion: Art and photography. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for over two years until their closure.
