“The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.”

“We had such an amazing time and are so happy that wedgewood was a part of our special day. It was everything we envisioned and more! Petr went above and beyond for us, from coordinating with my family members, our musicians, to fixing my dress and veil prior to walking down the isle, Brynn was there every step of the way from opening the doors during the ceremony , gathering all the items lost and found and coordinating with the burrito vendors for late night bites. (: Our bartender!!!- I forgot his name but there was NEVER a line at the bar!! Shots were always ready and not once did he bat an eye! We love you guys so much. 100% would do it again!! Literally the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. We are so glad we chose headquarters- I was stressed, but after the rehearsal - I felt so grounded and ready to marry the love of my life. We really appreciate all your help. Thanks again!! 10/10!!! Tbh, the other Wedgewood venues have NOTHING on the headquarters!! When we got to visit the presidio venue- we loved the location, but not the venue. - at that moment we knew we chose the right venue. Headquarters is the best location, most convenient for guests with limited mobility and that’s #1 reason we chose headquarters. - my grandma who is 92, grandpa Bennie 90 and cousin Don-Don who is wheelchair bound with down syndrome were all comfortable and safe. I was also amazed by how the outside cocktail area transformed from when we initially toured the venue, we spend a lot of time in nature, some days I was regretting we didn’t have a nature based outdoor wedding (we also didn’t want to worry about the possibility of the weather afffecting our guest experience- it was raining when we toured headquarters), but I was pleased to be able to get fresh air and still have the same vibe outside. Trying to think if there could have been anything that could have done differently..maybe clearing the bridal suite after cocktail hour of the food/drinks?! I was a bit nauseated from the smell of the tuna that was left out, but as soon as we asked the staff - it was cleared and bussed right away. The lobo lighting was so underwhelming, but that was the band and not you guys (they did the right thing and focused on the music vs centering the light - as they should- they killed ittt) Of course everything can’t be perfect, but it was imperfectly perfect!!! Ohhh also we would have liked to know about the jail cells and exhibit so we could let our guests know to check it out! But we saw it in our own walking around! Two days after the wedding! Soo cool!! Thank you thank you thank you! Love always, Mr. & Mrs. E”

“We hosted our wedding weekend at Sacred Mountain Ranch, Thursday through Sunday over the 4th of July, and it was truly above and beyond anything we could have imagined!! Throughout the planning process, Shannon was incredibly helpful. She was always willing to answer any question and work us through any problems that came up. We had a last-minute cancellation with our wedding coordinator, and Shannon and the Sacred Mountain team stepped in without missing a beat. They kept things running smoothly all weekend, especially on the wedding day itself. The property is stunning, and everyone there was kind and accommodating. They made sure we had what we needed while still letting us use the space in a way that felt personal and comfortable, like it was truly our own. It's a dream venue! Every housing option on property is beautiful and homey, and the wedding venue setup flows so well, with every detail clearly well thought out. I can't recommend Sacred Mountain Ranch enough. Oakwood Creek Celebrations

Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. This beautiful venue sits atop a picturesque knoll overlooking the historic town of Julian. Sherry Horton, owner of Oakwood Creek Celebrations, offers signature style that everyone—no matter their affair—will find "oh so easy". Growing up in rural Ohio, Sherry brings the style of country that is reminiscent of simpler gracious time, learning from her grandmother Emma Barrett of all things romantically beautiful. Sherry’s work has been featured in Country Living Magazine, Where Women Create, and San Diego Magazine.

  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Creates a sense of togetherness

“Oakwood Creek made our wedding dreams come true...if you are looking for a rustic, charming, cozy, and intimate venue, look no further - you have found it in Oakwood Creek. As a couple that paid for our wedding ourselves, finding the perfect venue, location, setting all within budget started out challenging. But after one tour at Oakwood Creek, we knew right away we found our venue. (It actually was our first and only tour, that's how certain we were.) We had 35 guests (planned for 40) and it was the perfect size. My husband and I only wanted our closest friends and family so this venue was perfect for us. We were able to get plate rentals through the venue and coordinated all of our vendors through Oakwood Creek. The entire team at Oakwood Creek is amazing. I definitely had a few moments of tears before the wedding after 100% rain was forecasted on my wedding day but the team pivoted everything indoors for the reception and we were able to do the ceremony outside. They all kept me grounded and answered every single one of my questions (there were MANY) lol! If you are looking for not just a stunning venue but also a wonderful and kind team that will make the best day of your life even more memorable, definitely schedule a tour at Oakwood Creek and book your wedding day now!”
