Hi, I'm Laura! I’m inspired by the colorful beauty of nature, and I’m passionate about sharing that beauty with others. I love to create lush, vibrant floral bouquets that reflect my client's unique personality and style (e.g. chic, rustic, romantic, fantasy, gothic, etc.). I love eating good food, changing my hair color, haunting thrift stores, playing board games, attempting yoga poses, knitting, and snuggling with my two spunky rescue pups.

Michelle started her career as a lawyer, but could not resist the pull of her family’s legacy—flowers! A third-generation florist, some of her earliest childhood memories include processing flowers at her grandmother’s shop in northern Indiana. She grew her love of flowers working along side her mom in creating amazing wedding florals for couples all over Indiana. Ask her and she will tell you that she was trained by the best! She brings her passion and years of experience in this art to the Owner/Creative Director role for One of a Kind Events.

Courtney Wiley, owner and lead designer, realized a life-long dream by opening Violets Are Blue Floral Design. She has a true passion for floral design, and thrives on the creation of designs that bring beauty and festivity to events in and around Indianapolis. She always strives to satisfy her customers’ personal wishes and budgets. Courtney is known for her creative design style and high level of energy.

Woven Blooms is a floral design studio with a passion for creating enchanted botanicals for weddings and private events. We pursue the unique by enhancing the natural artfulness of each stem. Intrigued by the wildness of nature and inspired by the textures of the urban environment, we employ locally and domestically grown blooms to build seasonally inspired floralscapes that enhance the natural surroundings of any venue.

Zachary Pearson, founder and designer at Sage House, brings all things wild and beautiful to his works with floral design. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

After working at a local flower shop for a little over 4 years, I came to the conclusion that by far my favorite part of being a florist was working with brides to make their day special, beautiful and fresh!
