Black Rooster Farm is a women-owned and operated flower farm and design studio located in Louisville, Kentucky. As farmer-florists, we provide seed to vase service - from tilling the fields and planting seed, to delivering seasonal, local flowers directly to our customers. We currently offer floral subscriptions, custom arrangements, event design, and a full spectrum of wedding floral services.

All of our flowers and foliage grown at Black Rooster Farm are free of synthetic chemicals and harmful pesticides. We also partner with other local growers who share the same environmental stewardship beliefs that we do! On certain occasions and during the winter months, we also source directly from our local wholesale flower market so we have access to the best blooms year round!

    A must book!

    Working with Kristen was wonderful! She has great communication and great artistic vision. The work she does is beautiful and we loved she sources her flowers from local farmers. We can not recommend her enough!

Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
