“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

When they had down time before the reception, they even offered to help out non-picture wise wherever they could! She also sends little gifts and surprises but I won’t spoil it. There is one BIG surprise she does at the end but I won’t spoil that either lol. We booked Amber for our elopement to San Francisco from the UK in Nov 2023. At first we were apprehensive about making the big commitment to a photographer, we wouldn’t have the chance to meet face to face before the big day. From our initial enquiry, right through to Amber putting us in the cab back to our hotel after our ceremony, Amber was a dream to work with… The relationship we developed was so professional, yet friendly and fun. “I’d give Brandi 6 stars if I could honestly. I had HIGH expectations from her portfolio and still she exceeded them. Our whole experience was great. From our first consultation call Brandi was super helpful with ideas and plans to fit what we were looking for. She basically planned our whole timeline and always answered any questions by email quickly and tweaked our timeline to suit what we were thinking nearer the time. All the locations she took us to and shots she took were perfect for us, and some locations I didn’t know even existed! We just knew we could trust her with our vision even though we had no specific thoughts or plans, just vibes. We were lucky (?) enough to get married on a very rainy day and Brandi totally embraced it and made the most of the rain. When she says it doesn’t matter if you’re not comfortable in front of the camera, TRUST HER. She got this pair of Chandler Bings to look cooler than ever. She made us feel so comfortable with some more candid shots of us interacting naturally and then with some where she told us exactly what on earth to do with ourselves. She really knew what she was doing by meeting the camera shy couple at a bar for a drink for the first location. For us she was the perfect balance of being a hype woman without being over the top. She was even prepared with wet wipes and plasters (band-aids) when I fell and both my knees had huge, bloody grazes in my mini dress. And then she kindly edited them out a whole bunch of photos. Thank you so much Brandi, we absolutely love our photos! I tried to pick a few faves for this review but it turns out that’s… basically all of them.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Suhana! We originally weren’t planning on hiring a photographer for our Central Park elopement, but booking her turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the start, Suhana was incredibly warm, communicative, and thoughtful. She helped us think through timing and logistics, offered helpful suggestions, and even surprised us by showing up early to capture getting-ready photos at our hotel. They are fun, joyful and something we’ll always treasure. Suhana has a true gift for capturing moments as they naturally unfold. If you're looking for beautifully candid, non-rehearsed photos that still feel elevated and artful, she’s your girl. Her presence made the day feel even more special...she was fun, grounding, and genuinely excited for us. She also worked with us to make both film and digital photos fit within our very humble budget, which we really appreciated. Her turn around time with unheard of (less a week from our elopement!!) so we got to enjoy the photos right away. We’re obsessed with our photos - they feel like us in the most magical way. “We were going to go with an off island photographer when we came across Eli and their work. Their knowledge of the island, how the wind blows differently on different sides of our venue, how the light hits perfectly on this side of the venue and we can still get an ocean view — that they care about the power lines and know how to avoid cars in the back of ceremony images. The list just went on and on and on. Working with Eli was like working with a walking encyclopedia of Block Island. And when you're getting married on the island, it's such an asset. Eli helped walk us through other on island vendors, best spots for our engagement sessions, different hotels that might suite certain guests better than others, an amazing casual rehearsal dinner/welcome party idea that was flawless, and I just couldn't be happier. When we got the images though, I didn't know what to say. Eli had captured so much of our story, we felt the same jitters getting ready to walk down the aisle looking through images of moments we didn't. get to experience on our wedding day (we were a little busy, getting married, and you just can't witness everything). Eli was so great with our friends and family, able to choral a few of my drunk groomsmen, while simultaneously making my antsy family members just super at ease and happy. I couldn't be happier in working with Eli and can't wait to see them in future years when we visit.”
