“Michelle was just the best, she was the photographer at our wedding in Grand Rapids, MI which had events both at the Amway Grand Plaza and Frederik Meijer Gardens, she was so fantastic at both locations and made us feel so comfortable. We loved her personality and she fit right in with our families, so friendly and engaging! We did an engagement shoot at our venue which was so great to scope out good spots for wedding photos. For the wedding week, we had a haldi ceremony in my family’s backyard, a sangeet/reception, and a Hindu ceremony and American ceremony/reception all over the course of 3 days! She was so flexible and easy to work with in all those locations and her package was able to be individualized for exactly what we needed. And the photos she delivered were just perfect, we did make our own wedding album but it only turned out so beautifully because of her wonderful work. Could not recommend her enough!! She is perfect for any Michigan wedding needs or beyond as her business expands. You’ll be in the best hands.”

I’m Julia - people always ask me how long I’ve been a photographer for and the cliché (but true) answer is for forever. I’ve walked through many alleys that led me to photographing weddings. To future brides & grooms reading our review: If you are going to do anything right for your wedding day (besides marrying your best friend), hire Julia as your wedding photographer!!! We can not stress enough how much Julia impacted our wedding day. First, she has your back. She helped us keep calm and keep our timeline on track. Julia had a great sense of reading the room. She was by our side when we needed her. Second, we had a BLAST! Julia kept our energy UP (she's a Leo, if you know you know). She had both of us laughing, smiling, and overall happy. Even our bridal party and family LOVED Julia's professionalism and how she conducts group photos. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her and plan on using her in the future. She's seriously that good. Third, her photography style was exactly what we needed. She is super knowledgeable about poses, lighting, background, etc. She was honest and explained why she had us do certain pictures. She took into account any preferences we had (standing on the left side rather than the right, mobility concerns, etc). Also, be ready to get creative! “Where to begin? Finding Katy was truly one of the biggest blessings of our wedding process. It was very important to find a photographer who we felt had, and actively displayed, the ability to photograph in an inclusive, respectful and honest manner. “Savannah did an AMAZING job. Her hubby was there to help and both were so patient, kind, and professional throughout the entire ceremony and reception. We had multiple calls to go over our wedding timeline and what to expect. She always communicated and responded quickly to any questions or concerns that I had. We had a few changes and she adapted quickly. She also helped ease my nerves on our big day. From our first look, to walking down the aisle, first dance, and family photos. When I look back at my photos I feel all the butterflies again. It was important to capture every detail since we did not do a video photographer. And she did exactly that! She sent us some sneak peaks and we got to share those moments with family and friends and they had nothing but amazing things to say about her as well.
