The Orpheum stands as the largest and most recognizable landmark in downtown Buena Vista, a testament to over a century of Colorado history. Built in 1910, this iconic structure has witnessed the evolution of our mountain community, and as its current custodians, we’re honored to transform it into a gathering place where meaningful connections flourish for generations to come. For all other vendors—including florists, day of coordinators, photographers, cake/dessert, décor, and more—you are welcome to choose whomever you’d like.

“If you're looking for a wedding venue that is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and supported by a fantastic team, we cannot recommend the Orpheum enough! From the beginning, everyone was so easy to work with. Mike and Briony were wonderful and helped us turn our ideas into the wedding we had envisioned. The entire venue worked so well for our day, and we loved how many different spaces were available for different parts of the experience. The Moon Lounge was one of our favorite features. It gave us a quiet, private place to spend time together during the reception without feeling disconnected from our guests. The bridal and groom’s suites were also excellent, and the ability to watch the venue being set up through the video cameras on the TV while getting ready was such a thoughtful and fun feature. The main reception space was gorgeous and already beautifully decorated, which saved us from needing lots of extra decor. We also loved having an outdoor area where guests could play cornhole, relax, and get some fresh air during the cocktail hour or as a dancing alternative. The Orpheum made our wedding feel special from beginning to end. Between the beautiful space, the unique amenities, and the wonderful people who helped make it happen, we couldn't have asked for more. We are so happy we chose the Orpheum and would recommend it wholeheartedly to other couples!”

“The Surf Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the very beginning, the team was consistently friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, making the planning process a breeze despite some coordinator changes. The venue itself is truly stunning - the space is unique and romantic, with very high quality tables, linens, chairs, and glassware that wowed all of our guests. “We had our wedding at The Lost Dutchman Event Center with 30 guests, and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. From our first conversation through the big day, Dawn & Cortney were super communicative and answered every question we threw at them without hesitation. Their all-inclusive package took so much stress off our plate, since they handled food, drinks, and desserts, and they even offer decorations for brides, which was a huge bonus. What really stood out was how the space felt intimate and cozy for our smaller celebration instead of feeling empty or too big, like we were swimming in a fishbowl. However, there was still plenty of room if we were to have had a wedding with 50-70 guests. The venue itself is gorgeous with beautiful scenery and an amazing vibe that made our day feel exactly as special as we imagined. We can't thank Dawn & Cortney enough for being so helpful and making the whole process easy from start to finish. Our photos are beautiful, and we are SO happy with how everything turned out, and would absolutely choose them for another event in the future.”
