I'm a "narrative" wedding photographer, which means I'll be there to capture events and the small special moments start to finish -- photos of you two, the ceremony, your wedding party, your family and friends, the ambiance, the celebration. I'm super chill. I'm there to support and suggest, not to direct. It's about you and your wedding, not about me. I've worked large weddings to small, traditional to very unique, young couples to elder marriages, and have worked with many cultures and ethnicities. I love the variety.

I am a curly-haired hugger who has always dreamed of my wedding day, so it was a no brainer after shooting my cousin's wedding in 2004 that this is what I was meant to do. I can be found running along the streets of our small town in Hingham, building a beach bonfire on the Cape or simply lounging around with my husband Chris, our daughter Melanie and our husky Stowe - watching our latest show obsession. If I'm lucky I get to do the thing I love most - photographing the beginning of my sweet couples’ story!

Kelsey Sheehan Photography was founded in 2019. I made the jump into being a professional photographer to follow my heart and work in a career path that I love! When I am not working you can find me baking with country or 90s/00s R&B blasting, sitting by the fire with my neighbors, doing yoga, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, or hiking with my family. Okay, and maybe binge watching Schitt's Creek, Gilmore Girls, or Grey's Anatomy for the hundredth time.

HI EVERYONE! My mother was the first photographer in the family (30+ years in photography); she was my mentor, and my best friend… She recently passed due to cancer in late 2021. I've learned so much from her its indescribable. I’ve also have had the honor to be mentored at a young age by other acclaimed photographers and directors. Since childhood, I found that with photography, I could get to know people and at the same time capture emotions through images. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. The Lane Studios originally started as a family & school photography studio many years ago. In 2019, we started offering wedding photography after years of many enquiries. The entire process is led and managed by couple-in-real life, Sean & Donnla, with Sean as the lead photographer on the day, and Donnla handling everything to do with client relations and bookings. We shoot all over the New England area - from the far reaches of Maine to the corners of Connecticut. Fun facts: Sean is a Navy Veteran and Donnla was born in Galway, Ireland.
