“WOW. Our wedding day was a dream and so much more because of the phenomenal Milton Ridge team. Absolutely every person at MR from the coordination team, photography team, catering, DJ, and beyond is so incredibly professional, caring, detail-oriented, and focused on making your day and you and your partner feel so truly special. We have a million compliments to give to this amazing staff. It felt like they were all celebrating with us! Meaghan and Moriana not only helped plan and coordinate our day beautifully, they were so excited for us all day and made sure we weren’t worried about anything, making sure to have everything ready for us, even strategically got our one guests safely an ambulance to the ER before the ceremony (and back before first dance!) and made sure every single moment of our day ran smoothly. Feldy and Mira made the best photographers we could have hoped for. They were adamant about getting us the shots we wanted and Mira was just priceless with her joy for the photos they were taking!! She and Feldy have us so excited to see our photos!!! Our DJ, Tyler was just wonderful, made our night with some great music and had our guests dancing all night long! One moment I will never forget is running to the office to get something an few hours before guests arrived and feeling caught up in my nerves, but then hearing the catering staff laughing with each other while preparing our food. It totally snapped me out of my nerves and brought me back to the moment, reminding me to enjoy it all. The food was insanely delicious by the way, so many compliments from guests too! Highly recommend the fajita buffet!! Hubby and I are still chowing down on the leftovers 2 days after our wedding! I also want to mention how happy it made us to see Moriana, Mira, and the girls and guys serving drinks dancing to the music, enjoying the night, while providing us with everything we could want and more!!! The ultimate professional wedding team is right here at Milton Ridge!! Can’t thank you all enough. We are so grateful we chose this venue, will be recommending it to all of our engaged friends, and will never stop talking about the day of our dreams that you all helped make possible.”

“We hosted our wedding reception at Rocklands Farm and I was so happy with the experience! The barn has a rustic elegant ambiance and the surrounding farm and winery is picturesque. Their “corn crib” was ideal for appetizers and a fire pit while guests arrived before being seated, and a bonfire made a great outdoor space for a November wedding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They worked seamlessly with the caterer Simply Fresh and our cake maker. Their day-of coordinator was great, keeping the timeline on schedule effortlessly. This was something I was very stressed about so having it go so smoothly was huge for me. Our photographer Jonalee Earles was able to set up lights etc. ahead of time. One unique aspect was the variety of table decor and signage provided, which I was able to look through and select ahead of time and which fit the ambiance beautifully. It looked amazing and took the pressure off us to bring our own decor. Rocklands made our wedding day truly special. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stress-free, gorgeous venue with great staff!”

“Having just passed our one year anniversary, we are beyond thrilled at the lifelong memory we created having our wedding at Old Farm Winery! From our first site visit on a rainy, December day, we knew the space would be beautiful for a spring wedding. Right away, we felt the space would perfectly capture our vision while also being the perfect size for our day. Caroline and her team were extremely communicative and worked hard to appreciate the aspects that made our wedding unique. Plus, we really valued having the whole side of the property to ourselves the entire day - something other wineries can’t provide. Some notes about how we used the space: The upstairs rooms were perfect for getting ready (the bridesmaids added on morning hours to get ready on-site), and the porch was the ideal space for our first look! Our Wedding Party also fit perfectly into a first floor room for our Ketubah signing ceremony. At our 60-day walkthrough, Caroline and her team presented a few options for our ceremony layout - We loved having our ceremony facing the big tree. Caroline and her team were also flexible accommodating our homemade Chuppah. We had to have a band play our reception (we loved Bachelor Boys!), and having a band, buffet and 12 10-person tables was the right amount for the space. We opted against a defined dance floor and didn’t miss it at all. Miscellaneous thoughts: Old Farm is drone-approved, and our videographer captured gorgeous scenic shots of the property! We chose one of the suggested caterers. Double check they have a license to serve in Virginia, otherwise they can walk you through the one-day licensing process to purchase drinks and have them serve on your behalf. Busses transporting guests might suggest multiple, smaller seaters to best navigate the parking lot. We had 3 34-seat busses instead of 2 55-seaters. Additionally, the venue does not allow open flames at all (even under glass votives), so we used flameless votives. The wine is delicious, and we had no trouble hitting our minimum! We had a beautiful wedding our family and friends are still talking about. Our guests had so much fun, and we felt at ease planning the day of our lives knowing the staff at Old Farm was professional, kind and on-top-of every aspect of our day. We intentionally chose a venue we could come back to in future years, and look forward to future trips to the Old Farm tasting room. One additional note: my out-of-town parents flew in for New Years leading up to our May wedding and visited the property unannounced the following day. The staff warmly gave them a private tour of the entire space and a drink in the tasting room. My parents loved the first-class, gracious service, which helped confirm to my wife and I that we made the right choice.”
