Laumeier Sculpture Park was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. It's truly a hidden gem in St. Louis County, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and artistic charm. The Heartland Garden was a beautiful setting for the ceremony, providing a peaceful, intimate garden atmosphere that felt both personal and picturesque. Following the ceremony, the patio at the Aronson offered a lovely garden party vibe, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty of the park. The Aronson Fine Arts Center served as the ideal location for the reception. Not only is it conveniently located within walking distance of the Heartland Garden, but its blend of modern architecture and curated artwork adds a touch of elegance and creativity to the celebration. The staff were phenomenal - welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly well organized. From the start, they made the entire wedding party feel at home and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. Guests loved the all-in-one venue experience, and it was clear that the bride and groom were a perfect match for the artistic and natural atmosphere of the sculpture park. Simply put, Laumeier made a memorable day truly magical.

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Cedar Creek was above and beyond what we could have asked for in a venue. Our biggest priority when looking at venues was that all of our guests could stay on site, and that it was a beautiful venue with indoor/outdoor options for ceremony and reception. When we found Cedar Creek, we were instantly in love, and knew it was our venue. We could not have anticipated how hospitable they would be before and especially on our wedding weekend. Mark is an incredibly kind and generous property manager. He made quite a few accommodations for my husband's grandparents, drove them pretty much everywhere on the golf cart, and went above and beyond for all of our other guests. Sky is the best day of coordinator we could have asked for. She was calm, present, and very organized. She was able to keep me (an event manager myself) calm and unaware of any issues that were occurring. Our timeline ended up being off for the reception, and she came in with a plan for us, instead of asking what we wanted to do. I could not have gotten through the day without her! There are countless other moments where she was incredibly helpful, but that one stuck out the most to us. Chef Todd is an incredible chef. We cannot praise him enough, and got lots of compliments from our guests! He was accommodating for all of our dietary restrictions, makes incredible breakfasts as well, and overall did a fantastic job. All of the other staff that we encountered was also so hospitable and kind. If you are looking at getting married, we cannot recommend Cedar Creek enough. Your guests will love it, and so will you! Sunset Bluffs was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Their communication was quick, kind, and incredibly organized. The quality of their work was top tier—personalized, modern chic, and innovative. Their fireworks were jaw dropping!! They accommodated our changing guest count wonderfully and orchestrated all vendor meetings seamlessly. When Chloe & Co (my hired wedding planner) overcommitted and underperformed, Sunset Bluffs stepped in, stepped up, and were overstaffed enough to ensure our day went off without a noticeable issue. They have wonderful vendors and an amazing team. I'll cherish the beautiful bluff photos from our wedding forever, and I was amazed by their innovative table design that fit our large wedding party and their significant others perfectly. Sunset Bluffs exceeded our expectations in every way and made our special day truly unforgettable!!

There are not enough words to express how happy we were with Lost Hill. We did the pine micro in the glampers and it was perfect! We wanted something all inclusive, and they did not disappoint. From the very first phone call, everything went so smoothly, ESPECIALLY, because we weren’t local! We didn’t even see the venue until we got there actually but it was exactly what we imagined . It was the best, casual, intimate, fun weekend and we’re thrilled. 20/10 . We are also a queer couple and lost hill was so affirming and welcoming AND we could bring our dogs, which was so important in our planning. It IS still camping! So, please read through the glamping listings - they’re described perfectly. But we were well prepared!
