Kaleb Hill Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Hattiesburg, MS

I'm a devout Christian and family man. I served my country proudly as an Army Infantryman and did one tour to Iraq from 09-10. I'm an avid movie watcher. Shawshank Redemption and Tommy Boy are two of my all-time favorite movies. I have a very laid-back and relaxed demeanor, but at the same time, I'm a perfectionist and extremely organized with a keen eye for detail. I have a major in computer engineering and a minor in electrical engineering. In my spare time, I enjoy felling trees, tinkering with electronics, and learning Jiu-Jitsu. Above all these, I love taking pictures of the world around me and transforming them into masterpieces.

Kaleb was very time efficient, he planned everything out according to how I wanted it, and his eye for good wedding memories is fantastic! We absolutely love our pictures (that we got back in a WEEK by the way!!!) and our wedding video is just so sweet. He managed to get every single shot and more without even knowing he was there! And his prices were SO worth what you get from him!

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot express how amazing Angela was. She has not only a super warm personality. But also an amazing work ethic. I got the package for two photographers and they were both phenomenal. While I was getting ready(we are running about 30 minutes late) she was out taking photos of the venue, the lay flat photos, and the other details pictures. She even held onto our rings for me because the bridal suite was a wreck and I didn’t wanna lose them. All in all my experience with her was a 12/10 experience. She was one of the people who made my wedding less stressful!

Grace and was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding! Grace was very thorough and communicated with everyone from venue staff to the DJ to choreograph and capture everything. I fell in love with Grace's whimsical and wispy style of photography - she made sure to include everyone in the shots. Pelican Perch Photography was a fantastic choice for our wedding photography. From the moment we first spoke with Seth, we were impressed by his prompt, professional, and friendly communication style. The quality of his work is truly excellent - his unique, professional approach captured all the special moments of our day. Seth was very inclusive of everyone who attended, but never obtrusive. He did a fantastic job taking both formal and candid photos of the bride and groom, as well as our guests. Seth took a tremendous number of photos and turned them around to us within just a few days. It was a pleasure having him there, and he even managed to capture a comet in the background of one of our photos - it was magical! We highly recommend Pelican Perch Photography for any couple looking for exceptional wedding photography.

I've had the opportunity not once but twice to work with Ashley as she starts doing more costume/cosplay location photography. Which is a whole different style of photography and she handled it fantastic. We had ideas prior of what themes and costumes would best fit the location and she was very open to the ideas I had in mind and we bounced great poses. Great communication. And loved how they all came out.

Meghan Ann Imagery LLC

I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an wedding storyteller and lover of love. I offer photography and videography services for elopements, micro weddings, and traditional weddings. Based in Alaska and servicing the PNW and New England.

I found Meghan on TikTok literally the day after I got engaged and immediately knew she had to be our photographer. I wouldn’t let my husband take no for an answer — and I’m so glad I didn’t. From the very beginning, Meghan was friendly, down-to-earth, and made both of us feel totally comfortable (which was really important to me because I normally feel so awkward in front of a camera!). She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was amazing at communicating throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand our vision for a cozy, casual backyard wedding — and brought it to life through her warm, documentary-style photos that perfectly captured the vibe of the day. So many guests commented on how awesome the photographers were! Even though I leaned toward candid, documentary shots, Meghan was super flexible and helped us with some posed photos too, which turned out beautiful. She even helped set up our tattoo station (and got her own temporary sleeve — iconic), and sent us some Polaroids after the wedding, which was the cutest touch. Overall, Meghan was such a good vibe. It honestly felt like hanging out with a close friend who just happened to have a camera and a really good eye (: Can’t recommend her enough!

Christin Sofka Photography
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $8,000
  • Serves Hattiesburg, MS for additional fees

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.

Jay Dee Photography

  • Starts at $4,800

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

Inspired by the richness of romantic paintings, I capture love with moody tones, candid moments, and creative angles. From elopements at sunrise to backyard celebrations under the stars, I celebrate all types of unions—LGBTQIA+, non-traditional, eco-friendly, and more. Whether it’s a courthouse ceremony or a handfasting in the woods, I focus on the details and emotions that make your day truly yours. Let’s turn your love story into art.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our elopement photos by From GA with Love are absolutely magical. They didn’t just capture the obvious moments but found the heart in every little detail of our day. One of our favorite shots is of the winding dirt road we drove down at sunrise, with the mist clinging to the trees—it feels like the start of our own fairy tale. Another incredible image is of us exchanging our vows on a quiet riverbank, with a heron landing in the background as if nature itself was blessing our ceremony. Even the candid photo of us laughing together while struggling to light our unity candle in the breeze is now one of our most cherished memories. Their ability to honor the intimacy and uniqueness of our day made our gallery feel deeply personal and full of love. The best part was the inclusion of our kid, who got to feel like a part of the day. If you want a photographer who can make your story feel as epic and authentic as it deserves, they are the one.
