“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. This place, and the people who make it what it is, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”

“We stayed here for our entire wedding weekend, and we had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party here as well. For starters, Morgan is amazing. She was so flexible, easy to work with, and so organized. She is so attuned to the finer details and was always available to answer any questions. She was reliable, and I could feel her genuine sense of excitement for us when she was helping us plan. Nothing felt stressful while planning with Morgan, and she made our experience amazing. The welcome party was so much fun, and they hit the nail on the head. The food was spectacular. Kudos to the Reluctant Panther chef, as everything was absolutely mouthwatering. From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the main meal, it was some of the best food I've ever had. The inn itself is so beautiful. Each room has its own sense of self and such striking character. You really feel like you're in a Vermont inn rather than a commercial hotel. The bathroom in every single room is ginormous, with so much space. And don't even get me started on the breakfast picnic baskets! My friends and I couldn't get over how cute they were. Such a special touch for them to be delivered to each room as well. We love it here and can't wait to visit in the future! I would highly recommend staying here or planning any event here.”

“Our wedding at Sugarbush was perfect. We worked with Carolann who was extremely easy to work with, professional, and made the day of feel completely seamless. We got married in the Claybrook courtyard, held cocktail hour outside Gatehouse, reception inside Gatehouse, and had an after party in the pub. Every detail was excellent - bar service, food, and the team's ability to bring my half baked vision to life. They handled all my questions, last minute requests, and day of coordination. We stayed on-site and our guests loved the hotel. The large suites were great for getting ready and hanging out post events. As the bride, all I had to do was show up where Carolann told me to be and I had the best day. I know there was a whole team working behind the scenes to make that possible and I am so grateful.”

“We had our wedding reception at Basecamp Brewing and honestly could not have asked for a better experience! From the planning process all the way through our wedding day, the event team was amazing. They were always so helpful, responsive, and attentive, and made us feel like we were in good hands throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, the staff went above and beyond to help everything run smoothly. They were also incredibly helpful with our outside vendors, which made such a difference. Everyone was willing to jump in and help wherever they could, and it took a lot of stress off of us so we could actually enjoy our day. The kitchen did an incredible job with our meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious, and we had so many guests compliment the food throughout the night. Our bartenders were also amazing! They kept up with everyone all night, kept the drinks coming, and were so friendly and attentive. They made some really great drinks and did such a great job keeping everything moving.
