From the moment we booked Redbird Ridge Estate for our wedding, the staff were readily available, kind, and extremely helpful. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a modern and inviting atmosphere that made our special day feel so warm and personal. They were able to fulfill my request to rearrange some of the furniture to better suit our needs, and even allowed me to rent a tent to cover the back deck so my caterer could easily set up and tear down our dinner buffet. The only downside was the lack of a full kitchen, which did make it a bit more challenging for the catering team. But overall, Redbird Ridge Estate went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and I'm so grateful we chose this stunning venue.

My dream ceremony spot was in the trees, and this venue was the only one I found in the area that offered it. The Enchanted Forest microwedding option was ideal; the venue is rural, peaceful, and spacious. They had an excellent unbeatable selection of decor and allowed any professional caterer. Communication was great, and I never waited long for answers. Closer to the event, having Holly, my coordinator's personal number for texting, was helpful. She and her assistant were excellent in setting up and stayed on top of the timeline. The phone and video calls, in-person decor selection, and venue walkthroughs eased my worries. While other bridal areas weren't pretty and/or small (locker room, gym, large closet) the bridal suite was large and beautiful, and the free engagement shoot perk was nice. Meeting Melanie, her husband and their dogs shows this is a family business. Fantastic venue.

Heather sent vision boards, layouts, design elements, etc. prior to our wedding making set up literally effortless for the bride and groom! Not to mention, the included access to lodging on the property, shuttles for the ceremony, decorations, tables, tablecloths, a kitchen area with warmers and refrigerators perfect for catering! A stone patio adjacent to the barn is where many memories will be made with evening lighting and a built-in bar. A beautiful, wide aisle flows from the cocktail area to the ceremony site. This is hands down the best venue in the blue ridge mountains (coming from an Ashe County local couple)!! This venue is so stunning and needs minimal decoration to make it feel elegant and classy but still have a relaxed atmosphere. Paula is filled with so much wedding knowledge and provides a list of recommended vendors, which would be great for those who are not local. Paula is quick to respond to texts and calls and always eased my mind. The bridal suite, groomsman room, and honeymoon suite were so convenient to have right on site. The cabin on the farm was clean, spacious, and has everything your family/friends need. Mark, Paula’s husband, works so hard during the week prior to the wedding to maintain the landscaping and beautiful dahlia garden. I would also highly recommend using Caroline Orcutt as your wedding coordinator (add on service). She is beyond organized and makes sure everything runs smoothly the day of your wedding. She is quick to response to emails, texts, and calls. She also gave us tons of suggestions that would fit in our budget. We could not recommend this venue more and thank the Domske’s and Caroline for all they did for us to make our day so special!!
